What, exactly, about that article suggests to you that they're playing Coachella?

Fuck's sake, man.

Depeche Mode will be at Coachella.

They will there Sunday taking bets on whether or not Anton will fight with his fellow BJM bandmembers.

Pro Tip: Depeche Mode have been boring since 1993. Especially live.

Ultra was pretty good. Also, I saw them in '98 and '01 and thought they were great both times, though '98 was significantly better and was a greatest hits tour in which they exclusively played singles.

When they did Coachella in 06 they insisted on flogging most of their recent "Who Cares" material.

Was the acme of blandness.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to see them if they are gonna be one of those "Here's one from me new reck-cord" bands. Tears For Fears did that when I saw them and it was tough times.

Dont get me wrong I like DM alot.
When they are on (Never Let Me Down Again, Halo, etc) theres nothing like them.

But, when they wanna plod (Personal Jesus, I Feel You) man do they plod.

All just one mans opinion btw

ah, come on, don't be so tough on Personal Jesus.

You know, I think a lot of their stuff is really great, but if Catching Up With Depeche Mode was the only DM I ever heard again I'd be more than happy.

I remeber hearing PJ when it first dropped and thinking "That was it? That went nowhere"

But its cool, YMMV

I like PJ, but I do wonder why they chose it as the first single from that album. I guess it worked out for them.
