The only thing special they could plan would be to retire from music...they suck major ass! That new album is basically electro for the Britney Spears set...total and complete shit. They should give the Presets the setting for a special set...

No. They shouldn't.

I listened to the Tollett interview last night and it sounds like the surprise will be something along the lines of an elaborate stage set-up as opposed to special guests. The fact that MSTRKRFT has been out to LA a few times to plan their show with GV employees seems to indicate this, as they wouldn't be doing this if the only surprise was John Legend showing up. They're going for a Daft Punk-esque stage show if I had to guess.

Generally no, but I am amped for Etienne purely because of the cube and not because of the music. Daft were a beautiful combination of both. I feel that the chems could be the same way if they were playing live.

YEAH RIGHT! I've been on opposite coasts and in the rain when they had to cut their set short and the drinking never ceased.

Also, people who hate on MSTRKRFT didn't listen to them before their newest album and are obviously biased because of the shattiness of it....but ultimately Justice > Mstrkrft x10....although Mstrkrft does have a great stage presence....most of the time

They do a great job of producing remixes (I wouldn't say amazing because they all sound similar).

So far though, it seems their original production on the first record was an anomaly because this second record wreaks of shitcuntdickass.

Nope, more formless than that. You're not thinking metaphysics. Part of the stage will have to be imagined up by us.

With Steve Aoki jumping up and down behind it.

MSTRKRFT - sorry they have lost their steam quite a bit from the past year and a half of touring. Same sets, a little too drunk to mix right (I've heard some terrible digi scratching/completely missing beat transitions) the last few times I've seen them in the So. Cal area. I was at their CD release and Fist of God was a really big disappointment. Most of the tracks we had already heard, and even then, they weren't that great (B.O.U.N.C.E. has the worst intro ever after you listen to it twice)

Hopefully they will perform an epic set, but they aren't a lock in for me.
