Sup!

This thread is just to see how many of us have similar interest.

I'm somewhat of a adrenalin junkie. I do, snow/sandboarding, parkour/freerunning (Whatever you choose to call it), rock climbing, football/soccer and bridge jumping.

So what do you like to do in your spare time?

I like to cook, although last night I managed to make the blandest dinner ever. After we finished I told my husband next time we should just pop a multivitamin and chew on some cardboard and call it a night.

There's also the usual, i.e. reading, writing, music, etc. My husband is teaching me to play bass right now. Given that I have a degree in classical flute, it's nice to finally play something with some BALLS. I like how the ceiling rattles when I play.

In June I will finally FINALLY be out of debt after many years of handing my paycheck directly over to credit card companies. I hope to purchase a motorcycle by year's end. I need to do some major research though, as I know nothing about bikes, other than that I think Honda Rebels are cute and they're little. I need something small, cause I'm short, and I'm not really interested in flying around the neighborhood doing 100mph. My dad was in a bad bike wreck a few years ago and spent the entire summer learning how to walk again. Therefore I will probably be the most cautious and pussy bikerider you have ever seen.

I like to write, listen to music (kinda goes without saying on this board, James Blunt fans aside), travel, cook, read, watch movies, play soccer (though I suck), racquetball, and probably other hobbies that I'm forgetting about.

And though I don't have to hit every aisle at the grocery store, there are certain ones I hit (such as the health food section, the international section, and the frozen foods section) regardless of what, if anything, is actually on my grocery list. I'd hit the magazine section every visit also except that the grocery store I go to is in the same shopping center as a Barnes & Noble, and I don't do one without doing the other.

edit: since I saw family games mentioned above, we play cards a lot at family get-togethers. We either play Shanghai (kind of a rummy/canasta hybrid) or Spoons. My family is very competitive. There is often blood spilled when we play Spoons.

oh, also i love the sit-down kind of arcade racing games. i'm really good at them. oh and asteroids and tetris. i had the high score in this arcade in michigan for like a solid year once on tetris.

Just so you know, there is a bar across the street called The Continental that is in my top 5 bars ever. And thats a big deal.

the arcade is alright - i think it used to be a seperate business and only recently became part of Slidebar. since then, they've started getting rid of some of the games. apparently Slidebar is co-owned by the guitarist from Lit and the same person who owns the Continental. i've never been to the Continental, but it's really really close to my house and school-area, so i'm sure i'll check it out soon enough. i'll need a new neighborhood bar before anything else, and Beach Ball is too far.

I'm an Olympic Qualified Archer. Spent two summers at the training center in Chulla Vista. Here's a story about me (http://www.kvbc.com/Global/story.asp?s=2198231)
