They played in 05, 06, It seems a no brainer to have them again. They are coming up the coast anyway. Excellent band live.

I'd expect them, they're playing the area around then and their latest newsletter said they were planning festival dates - it makes sense.

No.

I don't see them being added. If they were playing, I think that they would have already been on the poster.

True. It'd still be really nice to have 'em play though, Sunday most preferably. I heard they put on really good shows. I'm hoping this happens .. if not, then oh well.

They seem perfect to play before The Killers.

I see no reason it will happen, so I'll take that bet.

Yes I will bet you $5000 that Bloc Party will not be added to the Coachella 2009 lineup.

For the ears, yes. They're roughly the most boring live band I've ever laid eyes on, performance-wise. Even so, I have a ticket in hand for their 4/24 Seattle show...

Does fit the Killers demographic well.

What exactly are the details on getting into such a free show @ the Palladium? Just show up?

Ticketmaster has a show for Bloc Party on the 19th in SLO now (but not the one at the Palladium, since it's supposedly free). And LA Weekly has the Palladium show listed as costing $22.50.

A bit confusing...

YES so boring live. I was so into them in 06 but their live performance was nothing desirable.
