I can't believe I never thought of him. He's a fucking legend. Plus, he was one of the original pioneers for using synths in pop music. In a lot of ways, he would be perfect!

Stevie would be great.
Maybe we would be lucky enough for the Jonas Bros. to join him like at the Grammy's.
Ravingmad
03-11-2009, 01:08 PM
look, he even said nice things about Amy Winehouse, so it's a natural fit for a replacement!

Stevie Wonder is totally universal. Who the shit doesn't like Stevie Wonder? The hipest hipster at Coachella has to appreciate this.

I don't know. I'm sure some fucktards will whine "ZOMG OLDCHELLA! I JUST CALLED TO SAY I LOVE YOU WAS LAME!" just like they did with McCartney.

although i dont really thinkg stevie wonder would be good for coachella, i would like to get down to Sir Duke on that system...ive only ever heard Ani Difranco do it live and it was awesome, so i am guess with stevie wonder it would be bettah.

Here's some good footage of Lil Stevie back in '72, from the R.S. doc Cocksucker Blues, when he was the opening band for the Stones Exile tour... i believe this is during one of the stones encores...song part starts at the 2:42 mark.

I bet you could find a correlation between the percentage of weight loss to percentage of performance improvement with Stevie. I would be interested in seeing him if there was a 18 percent reduction.
