PF/Dani... anyone?

They have all the west coast dates EXCEPT LA ... and a gap for the latter two days. They have buzz and are good... so what's up with this?

Bumped...

I find this odd...
- Heartless Bastards have toured with The Black Keys and are playing shows with:
Gaslight Anthem, Cage the Elephant, and Jenny Lewis
- Their SXSW performance was featured on NPR
- They are much more unique than Gaslight Anthem and Cage the Elephant
- Their tour dates fit, obviously

yet... still not playing Coachella.
Its just a bit puzzling.

Obviously they're tour dates line up perfectly with doing a Coachella date because they're opening for the Gaslight Anthem on THEIR tour, and They are playing coachella. TGA got booked for coache, set up their tour around it, HB's got on the tour as opener, gap is present for TGA to play coachella. Pretty self-explanatory.

P.S. Most of the bands playing at Coachella are on tour and as such have opener bands touring with them. Coachella can't book all they're acts as a band and its openers just doesn't work.

The Presets have got The Golden Filter on their tour, Junior Boys have got Max Tundra, and Late of the Pier have The Whip. All of those bands would make for great coachella adds too. Just isn't in the cards though, these opener bands just have to deal witht the fact that they're gonna have to take a couple days off to enjoy the Coachella Valley sun.

duuuuhhhh...

But Heartless Bastards are actually worth seeing.
I guess I'm surprised that Coachella didnt just get HB instead of Gaslight Anthem.
