Here is my deal.... I hope this question has not been asked yet...

Me and my two friends are camping and we want to get one big tent. Is there a rule on how big the tents can be?
We have 3 camping passes so are we ok to get one big 3 room tent?

I dont know I just want to buy my tent now so I have less things to buy once I get to Cali.

ARE BIG TENTS OK with 3 camping passes??

thanks

Chek the camping FAQ. I think it's 25 square feet per person because I know it's 50 square feet for two.

How big?

I've got a tent and a canopy, and I'm solo. So, at check in do I say I'm meeting up with friends the following day? The tent is 7x7, but I really wanna have extra shade for the AM hours.

hey, I have an idea....I'll let people that are just going to sleep in sleeping bags (no tent) sleep under my canopy if they want....yeah, that could work.

If you happen to be one such person, get in touch with me, and we'll hang out!

Anyone in bakersfield-visalia-fresno, check Marshalls for camping gear if you need it. I found coleman 12x9 ($32), 10x9 ($32), 7x7 ($18), and smaller tents. They also had camping tables, chairs, canopies, etc...

Oh cool, so I can look for a 10X10 tent then.

supply sergent in bakersfield has a bunch of surplus military tents for 20 bucks...they are worth checking out if you are in town.
