Are there a lot of teenagers at Coachella? Im 17 just wondering if ill be seeing many people my age.

I kind of hope not, seeing as most people my age are douche bags. Im probably a douche bag too. ;).

Also, how inclined are people to share weed at Coachella, particularly with underaged people such as myself? I will bring my own weed but im just curious.

Yes, there are a lot of 16-17 year olds there. And most of the people there are pretty open about sharing bud with anyone. If they're not, you can usually tell without even asking.

Since my first year everyone is VERY open to sharing. Thats why Coachella is great. There are younger people there but its not the majority...

I don't want to catch a case for letting a 14 year old hit my blunt, so I share selectively. I generally don't share with anybody who asks; that annoys me. But everytime there's always somebody who keeps looking over at you while you're smoking trying to catch your eye, but they're too polite to ask. I get those guys retardedly stoned.

dear teenagers at coachella,

have fun, but please party responsibly. by responsibly, i mean don't narc out any adult who's nice enough to share/sell to you, don't get unconscious & make your parents have to come get you and by all means DO NOT DIE. if you die, please leave a note on your corpse stating you knew what you were doing and don't want anyone to be blamed for your actions. don't ruin our fun because you've had too much and want to place the blame on someone else so you don't get in trouble with your parents, that's all i'm asking.

rich? yikes! i hope that's not rich.

if i were of parenting age and i had a high-school teenage son or daughter who wanted to attend, and they behaved and worked hard and excelled in school, i would absolutely buy them a ticket, rather than have them working at age 16 or 17 when they should be studying.

this is so true. i played 2 sports in high school, which for those of you who also played, know there's not really an off season. with that on top of school, there's not really much time for a job. i don't know why people bitch so much about a kid's parents paying for shit. its totally justified if the kid is keeping on top of his shit and having an active involvment in school or another outside organization.

Rich probably is a bit exaggerated hehe.... If the kid is excelling at school and is doing everything good w/o a job I think that would be acceptable... But if ur just an average kid at my school (i go to quite a upper middle class one) you probably have 75%, dont have a job, and are just being mooks and midriffs thats where I think the kid doesnt deserve a ticket...

I am a mom of 5-I have taken all of my kids to Coachella(haven't missed a year) -who ever can go ,goes-I like to go to the festival but unfortunately most of my friends don't have the stamina or love of music that I have. Since my kids(ages16-34) want to go with me I don't see what the problem is. All of the adult ones live there own lives, have houses and jobs, are responsible and hard working. I like to take them to Coachella! Their friends have sometimes come along but we are more in synch with likes and dislikes and can hang easily together so noew its just us. I don't think this makes any of us losers.

I generally don't share with anybody who asks; that annoys me. But there's always somebody who keeps looking over at you while you're smoking trying to catch your eye, but they're too polite to ask. I get those guys retardedly stoned.

I have a similar policy, also sharing saliva with strangers is gross so you are prob gonna get a roach if anything!

Hahaha...saw my mom and she mentioned that she was defending me on the boards. Didn't realize posting about my mom being cool and taking me to Coachella would cause such a stir. I know it's unusual, but it works for us.
Anyway, the fact that we are active on the same message board definitely seems weirder to me that than the fact we take an awesome family vacation every April.

^ No one under 18 can camp. You should be able to answer your own question.

"Hmmm...If I want to be able to get into camping, I'll have to think of something clever, like get a fake id or try using my friends."
