alright. i know this question is a little lame, but bare with me. i'm irish/scottish so i'm -super- sun sensitive. i know the best sun blocks, have really good sunglasses and all of that. what i want to know is, where have you other girls found hats that will work for shading your face? everything i've found so far is heavy material and looks too warm. i'm not too concerned with "fashion" but i'd rather not buy a big straw hat either. any suggestions?

Cowboy hats are popular. Personally, I favor the big floppy straw variety.

Floppy cotton hats like this work well, if the brim is wide enough. They're also nice because they fold up and pack well (straw hats can be a pain to travel with).

You don't want to worry about style so much as not frying your ears, nose and back of your neck.

You can't bring a parasol in, but they usually sell them inside.

That's an ugly hat, even that chick can't pull it off and she's gorgeous.

I perfer the white one above. But I hate wearing hats and so will be slathering my ears with sunscreen, spf 50 haha.

yeah, that hat is ugly, but the "style" of it is ok. the print is just bad.

I just did a search on ebay.com for wide brim hats, and these are the ones that look like they'd be good
