I'm going to post this blindly (without checking other dates, conflicts), but assuming it were possible, I'd like these acts to come over to Coachella:
The Pogues • Broken Social Scene • Cafe Tacuba • Tricky • Chromeo • Mute Math • George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic • DeVotchKa

Tortoise, The Faint, Holy Fuck, Modest Mouse, Deerhunter...damn I really miss Langerado.

Maybe Coachella will grab an artist or two, Deerhunter is rumored right? Those guys put on a great show! I really want to see Tricky too. Like more than a lot of people at Coachella...get him GV!! You got massive attack!

Wow, another one bites the dust. Tortured Soul would be a good transfer.

Seriously. Posters here always seem to think that if an artist is on this continent sometime in the month of Coachella they're automatically going to play. Tour schedules do not work like that.

Parliament would make coachella so kick ass.

If a band is psyched to play a festival and it gets canceled, they might want to play another one to make up for it. That's what I was implying. Not really that much of a stretch.

i sound like a major hater here...

but like...

musicians dont get psyched for anything except stuff that comes in either little ziplock bags or guitar cases

I thought Sasquatch did well. It sold out in 07 and I would presume it did last also

Well maybe bands should have good schedules that include Coachella instead of cock-teasing bullshit.

And Deerhunter and Broken Social Scene (get Emily Haines to perform with them, too), plz.
