for all you people who eat up every tiny bit of information pertaining to coachella, they updated their myspace with 4 new photos from last years performance. now ive been 'friends' with them for awhile, and they dont update shit, so i think its worth noting. they also have a month gap between the 27th of march and april 25th according to their tour schedule. just thought id throw that out there...

Interesting enough. They were a conflict for me last year and I was just clueless in 04. Didn't they lose an original member recently? I don't know if that would have an impact on them being there or not.

For MIA last year? Thats sad. I only caught the end of MIA and it wasn't very good. Normally I would be happy for MIA but last years Coachella just wasn't great.

Yes, Florian officially left Kraftwerk early this year. But he didn't play Coachella last year anyway.

Seriously, if I wanted one artist from last year to play again this year, it would be Kraftwerk. Bring 'em back!

Kraftwerk was nothing special last year, sorry to say. I missed out on M.I.A's performance so I could see 4 old men change songs on their i-pod with visuals that look like 1980 IBM commercials. So consider yourself lucky that you saw M.I.A and it would be a disappointment if they had to invite them back this year when you can go after the Arcade Fires and Flaming Lips.

Yes because MIA's fucking ridiculous trainwreck was SO worth seeing over a fucking legendary group... Right.

They've been playing the same exact set for 10 years.

I still can't believe I am going to see them open for fucking Radiohead. I would welcome them as the house act for Coachella every year, regardless of whether or not it's the same set.

They've been playing the same exact set for 10 years.

This is why I hope they are no where near the polo grounds. Them playing that same boring set wouldnt save anything

^ not true. I saw them in 2005 & last year at Coachella. They were entirely different sets. Sure they played some of the same tracks & the switching out for the robots is an old routine, but they were quite different shows. Both were fun, but they totally blew me away at Coachella last year.

Radiohead and Kraftwerk added to the top of the bill on Saturday.

Now we have a Dreamchella on our hands.

maybe they werent in the same order but its the same crap they have been doing forever. I have seen all the videos they played behind them too.

Its was the only set I had wished I had not seen all weekend. If it wasnt for Portishead and my great spot I wouldve walked away
