Is it even worth it for me to go out there this year? Tickets are $302 something on ticketmaster and $285 at fingerprints.

Would any of you actually want to send me money to go buy these for you just to save $15 bucks? Start a list below if you're down.

What are the gas prices in LA like these days?

1. Gas prices are low enough now
2. Giving less money to ticketmaster is a good thing
3. Fingerprints Records is a nice shop to look around in for an hour or two.

I live 5 blocks away from Fingerprints. If anyone needs ticket help/purchasing let me know. I went on Friday but they weren't in yet, hopefully they are by the time I'm home from Phoenix.

This thread makes me wish I could go to Fingerprints too.

I really really really hate Ticketmaster.
For multiple reasons beyond the bullshit fees.

I think its more worth it if you want to get camping and not get killed by all the fees on TM plus the layaway fees too. Seriously 7 bucks for each thing to get mailed fed ex? i thought it would be a ''package'' deal? Meaning, you could get multiple thigns and its all one shipping fee.

they will only have 3 day passes.

Oh damn, feather, I didn't know this before the party. I could've give you the money to get me one.

Tessa, put me down for one. When are you going/when do you need the money? (paypal?)

Amy is your hubby not coming to Coachella this year?

I would pay extra money if I knew it had the slightest potential to hurt Ticketmaster.

Courtney, he wants to go Saturday only, so he's just gonna hang out in our room Friday and Sunday I guess. :thu
So I am planning on buying a single day ticket for Saturday for him.

Courtney

Oh lame! But hey, I guess that means less money spent on tickets and more money you can spend on merch?

Amy I'm taking cash only. Don't want to deal with paypal this year. I'll probably go in 2-3 weeks (and Dani will give me a heads up if it looks like it's gonna sell out earlier than that). If you want to mail me cash, feel free. PM me and I'll give you my address.

That goes for everyone. This is something like my fourth year in a row where you send me money and I buy tickets for you at Fingerprints and mail them to you. If you want to do that, PM me. I only accept cash now. No checks, no paypal. If you're worried, Dani (psychicfriend) will vouch for me.

No money orders? $300 in the mail is kind of ridiculous.

you could always send it via something other than usps...

I wouldn't send money in the mail. The USPS is not to be trusted. Bite the bullet & use TM.

tessalasset

I guess you can send a money order, actually. Just as long as it's nothing that can potentially bounce/doesn't take up to 10 days to clear.

Yes, I will accept US Money Orders.

Also, please note tickets are $288, not $285. Fingerprints tacks on an extra $3 for cash payments.

Tessa, thanks again for offering this. I was seriously thinking about taking you up on your offer, but I have been known to misplace things, and think it is safer if I pay directly, with a credit card, just in case I lose the tickets and need to have them replaced. Not that anyone would ever be that dumb. Not that that would ever happen to me. Not that I would know about the process because I went through it last year. Not anything like that.
