This a MUST SEE for me on Sunday.

I feel their this years Does It Offend You, Yeah?

They are definitely this years Klaxons.

One of the very few acts on my "better fucking be there this year" list on the lineup (so far).

They will destroy shit and make A LOT of new fans.

The more songs I hear from them the more I want to see them at Coachella. Catchy uptempo songs, they will sneak up on a lot of people this year. How it translates to a live performance, I don't know. Would like them to get a 3pm or later time slot.

I looove the album. I can definitely envision this as 09's equivalent of the Klaxons, or yeah, DIOYY. I think people are going to get mad crazy, including myself. I agree with hoping for a decent late afternoon or evening slot for them... a lot of awesome stuff was so early last year (Uhhh, Midnight Juggernauts at 2 pm?? WHAT??) and that was unfortunate.

I honestly think that out of all the bands at Coachella this year, I am most excited to see Late of the Pier!!! They kick serious ass and I cannot wait to see what they can do live! They are just another reason why I need to move the the UK....the best music comes out of it.

I have not but going off some of the online videos they look like they put on a fun performance. I bet they will be more enjoyable to watch live than say, MGMT was.

Last night in Atlanta they played and were a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!
I love the album and to get my ass out to a bar past midnight on a school night I have to be pretty into a band. The set was uninspired and they rushed through it incredibly fast...ever been to a show and just felt the band did not want to be there, yep thats what it was. They sound ok, have little to no stage presence and I was very VERY let down.
Maybe they felt that due to a small crowd they were playing beneathe themselves so possibly at Coachella with a large tent full they will live up to expectations. I have no desire to see em again though.

The Whip on the other hand kicked so much ass that I was happy that I was there and they were the openers. I would love to see them added to the lineup if not replace LOTP...LAME. Just my two cents.

Me and my friends have been calling it that for a while. I thought it was just us but I guess it must be a widespread thing. I just think it sounds hilarious; like a cutesy euphemism for a vagina or something.

I was at the Atlanta show also and was kind of disappointed. I was hoping they would stretch a little and deviate from the album. Their studio stuff is amazing and maybe it might be a little hard to transfer in the live format. They are a young looking band and probably need more time to come into their own. I'll give them another shot.

Agreed. I got an Animal Collective/Grizzly Bear/Hot Chip (the vocals anyway) kind of vibe from it.

I would love to see them again.
