Maybe I should have waited for all the new threads to die down but I needed to get this off my chest.

Also while I'm at it, please no conflicts with the above and Fucked Up, Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Paul Weller. I'd say Friendly Fires too but they are playing in L.A. a few days before, so I can always go there if I need to skip Friendly Fires.

Please no conflicts between TG, MBV and the Cure (although I suspect there will be).

That would be unfortunate. Both are intensely rare live acts.

They probably wont, but last year Dani started a "conflicts" thread so they could avoid potential life threatening conflicts, and it worked pretty good.

This is my number one DO NOT WANT conflict.

20 Jazz Funk Greats is fantastic TG but as it's been said a few times already, probably not representative of what they will sound like live.

CrimesceneCookie

well either that or Mojave but I feel need to be in a slightly more intimate setting if at all possible at a giant festival.

Closing spot is not neccessarily the most honorable/best spot.

Doubt it since TG goes on at 7. So as long as MBV goes on after 8 you'll be fine

Let's throw the Orb in there too. That's my top 3 acts of the festival, so as a personal favor to me, don't let them conflict. I'll even refrain from bitching about all the other inevitable conflicts!

absolutely.

Must see TG, The Orb, and MBV. Wouldn't mind catching some of the Cube too but I don't see it happening, I've already accepted that as a casualty.

I couldn't miss MBV for anything else. Anything.

But I would appreciate it if TG and them didn't conflict.

Throbbing Gristle & MBV will not conflict.

Adelita
04-12-2009, 10:21 PM
this is all false because on kcrw paul tollett said throbbing gristle will be in sahara. so probably playing last due to the hollywood square type thing they have to build ajaja

you are obviously confusing Throbbing Gristle with Etienne de Crecy...

Just by the placements on the poster, I would say Throbbing Gristle/Yeah Yeah Yeahs are the primary conflict to prepare for.

GODDAMNIT THIS IS NOT BETTER.

Actually its a little better, since I can miss part of the Cure, but still... 2 gothy acts on the whole lineup, and they're playing at the same time?!
