maybe they are too noisy and hardcore and fit better to warped tour or bambozeleft but i think it would be a great adition to Coachella ,they have alternative and progressive in their music, i havent seen them live, but their Doppelgarnger Album is pretty amazing.

waiting for "Manipulator"

i would love R.E.M too :D

They have booked the Blood Brothers and The Locust so this wouldnt be sucha bad choice. FOT is really fun to watch live... I saw them the other week at the Troubadour and it was insanity... Here are some photos I took from that show..

there is nothing "hardcore" about The Fall Of Troy.
And ignoring the fact that they are a shitty band, their singer/guitarist is mad talented. He can play the hell out of a guitar, now if he could only write good songs.

See, the blood brothers/Locust argument doesn't really work. The locust and the blood brothers are more avant noise/hardcore bands, Fall of Troy is just kind of another scene band, love 'em though.

Yeah but The Blood Brothers are from the same city as Fall of Troy, so they come form the same vein in their scene.. Their new songs are interesting so we'll see how it pans out. But it would work at Coachella I think. I just want Dillinger to play Coachella, I would skip out on a headliner for them... That and Refused to get back together.( I know longshot but still )

Yeah but The Blood Brothers are from the same city as Fall of Troy

Not that it actually makes any difference to your point but FoT is from mukilteo (a shitty little town in washington) whereas the blood bros are from the eastside of seattle

I could see this happening maybe next year.

Hell they have circa survive on the line-up so it's not too far off.

The Fall of Troy is nuts. Getting them at Coachella would make things pretty interesting. You can't get the full experience of their music without watching them live. Their albums do them no justice.

If you see them live, beware: your face may melt off.

And if you don't like their Self-Titled or Doppelganger, wait till Manipulator. Doesn't come out till May, but from what I've heard (literally), it's their best yet....

I saw Fall of Troy in SF not too long ago, with Portugal. The Man, Tera Melos, and some other band.

Personally, I thought Portugal. The Man and Tera Melos were wayyyyy better. But that's just me. If FOT is your thing, go for it, maybe they'll get added.
