They're typically billed at the bottom of the lineup that isn't broken down by day & I don't see that artwork....

They are amazing and a HUGE part, making up the heart of the festival grounds.

Where in the world is Lucent Dossier on the line up? You have got to be joking that they aren't even on the site yet? Please tell me they will there this year? I am not going to brave the heat without the water oasis that the DoLab puts together while Lucent entertains. Please someone tell me they will be there so I can purchase my tickets already!!!!!

I just checked again and they are not on the line up OR ANYWHERE on their site! ANyone know any information? I need to buy tickets still and am waiting to see if Lucent will be there first. Please advise?

Lucent is one of the things that makes Coachella, Coachella - without them, it's just another festival.

so are you saying coachella wasn't coachella in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003?

you're an idiot.

I hope they have the tree @ Coachella that they had at sea of dreams... i think there's a picture or two of it in the sea of dreams thread, but yeah, they should dooo it. They've had their wooden pallet set up for awhile, i'm sure they're gonna switch it up for '10

or something more extravagant of course...

I kind of have to agree... my 1st Coachella was one in which Lucent Dossier did a show (1st time ever seeing that at a festival) and that memory stuck to my head more than any of the bands that played.. so in ways, yes... that's part of my Coachalla for me. Otherwise there are plenty of music events, and festivals to go to much closure to where I live that feel the same... and with less heat to deal with.

Lucent hasn't done anything original in years.

as long as they turn the damn bass down, i'm cool with them being there. always a nice way to cool down

if they turn the bass up i'd be more cool with it... basslines are an essential element for pretty much all the artists that play there.

not when the do lab sound bleeds into 3 stages. again, i like the do lab, but the bands on the poster should not be drowned out by it

I don't know every time I see them they are always doing something new, new performance, new areal routines, new talent, new ways of interacting with the audience. I think they do a great job of exploring their creativity and keeping things fresh.

it kinda ends up lookin like a similar show the times i've seen 'em... but their themes tend to change i suppose...

the do lab won't be at coachella this year. i have a friend who works with them and he says they're concentrating on lighting in a bottle instead...

The thought of Coachella without the do-lab makes me very sad. its like a little desert oasis you get to walk through every time you go from the stages to the tents or vice versa.

seriously, i feel the same way.

edit: i trust him because i know for a fact that he does shit with them, but until something official is announced don't take my word for it

I thought they were already confirmed.....? I mean they were posting on this forum not too long ago.

Either way, Im sure Coachella will do something just as cool in its stead.... right?
