Anyone heard anything about Ian Hunter & one of the other members of the original Mott The Hoople, I forget his name--I think it's Morgan something--doing a one-off at Coachella this year?

I'd LOVE to see that. MtH was before my time and they greatly influenced my taste (well, Bowie, MtH, NY Dolls, Velvet Underground, Television).

Well, from what I'd heard, Ian is up for it but that other guy lives in Japan now (Morgan Fisher, is that his name?) and getting them to coordinate to practice, get a work visa to the US, etc. may be the hold up. I'd love to see it, too.

Wow!! What a tune! Gotta buy "Shrunken Heads" for sure. Thanks for the tip. The last Ian Hunter CD I bought was this live show thing from the UK. I didn't think it was so great, but this song from "Shrunken Heads" is quite all right. So, has anyone heard about Mott The Hoople being added to Coachella? That would be so rad, if it's true.

Not to mention Mick Jones of the Clash was a huge fan too...
