Per his drummer's myspace page:

http://www.myspace.com/stevepilgrim

Looks like he is playing Sunday too if the date is correct. If McCartney is also Sunday it'll be the day for old British rock stars.

I wish it was in the form of The Jam. Great find, btw.

Nice. For years he didn't play any Jam songs at all in his solo gigs, but he started integrating them back a few years ago. In his US tour last year, I know he played Town Called Malice pretty much every night. He'd also routinely mix in Eton Rifles, That's Entertainment and Butterfly Collector, among others. The only Style Council song I remember hearing (or reading that he played) was Shout to the Top.

I'd actually rather see From the Jam, personally.

You've got to be kidding. Would you rather see Creedence Clearwater Revisited than John Fogerty too, I guess?

I'm just not familiar with Weller's solo material, and I watched a couple From the Jam clips and they seemed really solid.

Where should I start with Weller's solo stuff?

If you want to sit down with an album, you can't go wrong with Wild Wood. It's his second solo album and I think it's a masterpiece. Critics are quite fond of it too and it was in one of those 1001 albums to hear before you die books or whatever. It's a departure from The Jam for sure, but definitely great stuff.

And here are a couple great youtube clips of the "different" sides of solo Weller:

Pretty Green please! Yeah. I think they should have Paul Weller go up on stage and then when he's not looking have Foxton and Buckler bonk the bassist and drummer and jump on stage and whenever Paul turns around flash a light in his face.
