I'm a pretty big fan and have wanted to see them for quite awhile. Their tour schedule is booked for march and may with the entire month of April off... think there's any chance??

they would be alright, but i think they are more of a bonnaroo band.

they are definitely not associated with the jam-band scene on any level. I'd say more related to the bamboozle scene if any. They're top 40 maroon 5 type stuff.

would you rather have the counting crows, or the barenaked ladies (band) at coachella this year?

Round Here vs If I had a $1,000,000....
Anna Begins vs Pinch Me

If either one of these bands played (CC or BNL) I might have to pierce my ears with a fork. Or, just go check out other bands that don't suck :)

Barenaked Ladies would be infinitely more entertaining than Counting Crows, imho.

anyone who hates the song Round Here doesn't like music. Too bad. It's timeless.

"It's been...one week since you looked at me..."

Prefer Boy George to both of em. 'Tumble for ya' was actually a pretty good song.

I like Counting Crows...I just don't know if they would be a good fit at Coachella. "Round Here" is a great song, as are "Anna Begins" and "A Murder of One".

i would pick neither but if i had to chose i think BNL, a lot more humor to their songs.

And to the person who says if you dont like "Round Here" then you dont like music, i have to disagree with that statement, although i am not sure people here really like music anyway.

there wasn't much truth to it, I was just saying its a great song.

i like that Colorblind song alot... which then, in turn, makes me want Keane to be there too...

Oh, oh and Dave Matthews too. We can do a Coachella/Stagecoach hybrid.

Is James Blunt booked that month, if we have CC, DMB, BNL you gotta have Blunt.

They don't seem like a fit for Coachella.

Agreed. They are a great live band, and last year, I had them in my lineup pool. I could see them playing late afternoon or sunset, depending on the headliner, but I don't think they'll be there this year.

They take me back to when my wife & I got married (1994). Good memories!
I would love to see them early evening/sunset time....

Same here. When "Hard Candy" came out, we were deciding whether to relocate to CA. Adam's lyrics often reference CA, so in a sense, he pushed us over the edge to make the move.
