Anna's Lawyer: "Anna Nicole Smith is Deceased"

Posted Feb 8th 2007 2:55PM by TMZ Staff
Anna Nicole
Anna Nicole Smith has died, this according to her attorney Ron Rail.

Smith collapsed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida and died at a local hospital hours later..

According to hotel officials, Smith was "unresponsive" and emergency responders performed CPR at the scene and a breathing apparatus was inserted in her throat. Anna was immediately transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood just after 2:00 PM EST.

WFOR-TV in Miami reports that Anna was found unresponsive in her hotel room. Local streets were closed off to rush Smith to the hospital, three miles away. Paramedics were seen pumping her chest as she was taken from the hotel.

Anna had been hospitalized for a week last November with pneumonia. Daughter Dannielynn, subject of an ongoing DNA test battle, was born on September 7. Her son Daniel died of a drug overdose on September 10.

Anna frequented the Hard Rock. Just a month ago, a playful Anna was caught showing off new body art to Hulk Hogan during a boxing match.

this is kinda random and pointless, but all this makes me think of marylin monroe for some reason.

had marylin been around today, i wonder if she would have received the same adoration from the public. my dad talks about how "back in the day", the media had more respect for public figures (for whatever reason) and didn't report EVERYTHING like they do today.

it just seems like anna might not have been AS crazy if she had a more private life. or maybe she would have been just as crazy, we just wouldn't have been exposed to it and we would have seen her differently.

i mean, i'm sure marylin had lots of crazy outbursts we never heard about due to her excessive pill usage. i know gable said it was hard to work with her in the end too.

i don't know, i don't feel bad for her because of her fame, i'm just think it's interesting how the publicity affected her life...

lol, like i said, i only know the "candle in the wind" part. i don't think i've ever sat down and listened to that song. it's just one of those songs i've heard while shopping or waiting to get my teeth cleaned.

and yeah, now we've heard tons about marylin's life NOW, but it seems to me it wasn't broadcast during her life like it would have been today. we would have seen tabloid after tabloid of her stumbling out of night clubs and such.

I think it's sad that Anna Nicole pretty much had one card to play--beauty--and she ended up taking that as far as it would go by inheriting $400 million, but that still didn't give her enough stability and security to be able to live happily to an old age. It's just sad.

maybe. i was thinking of dudley do right or something. like maybe the cartoon creator retired there. or like it's a never completed theme park or something from when the show didn't catch on fire quite the way they thought it would.

was shelly the weird hilbilly who used to make appearances on the reality show? or is that a refernce i'm missing. also, what happened to that butch personal assistant she used to have that was so in love with her? was that just for tv? she seemed sort of normal, albeit horribly misguided. ah, love.

Jenniehoo

That show was a guilty pleasure for me. The butch assistant was still her friend, as far as I knew, until recently at least. But, yeah, her name was Kim. HIS NAME WAS ROBERT PAULSON! Let's never forget her.

And, yeah, Shelly was the cousin. She was horrifying. I honestly hope, for the baby's sake, that it ends up on the other side of whatever family it has.

holy cow...weeeell, yes it's a real place and I really live here. The population is less than a thousand, but it's like 7 miles to another dinky town and another 10 from there to get to a grocery store.

I have AOL. it's dial up. It's the most dependable connection I've found out here. There's always HughesNet but I like having both arms and legs.

Whatever the decision was at the gates - I'm sure she's appealing it.

This poor woman had a dreadful life. She was never happy-she never
really owned herself. I think it's very sad, though not surprising.
She was so insecure that she couldn't NOT be an object...and I don't think
there were any nice men influencing her decisions, or looking out for her
best interests. I think she went to Heaven, leaving her Hell here on Earth.

Do you go to strip clubs, hit on the live stock, and then try to "save" them by any chance?

No, I don't "save" anyone, often including myself....
I just think insecurity rules the world, and this woman didn't have the intellectual capacity to extricate herself from the self defeating life
style she was trapped in.

okay. thanks. so seriously, in a population of less than a thousand, like what would you say is the percentage of people who actually have the internet AT ALL? and is dudleyville like a farming community or what? or is it just some high desert trailer park closet meth lab type thing? seriously, i'm fascinated. not making fun of your hometown or anything. and if any of the above IS true, then what are YOU doing there? did you grow up there or what? what do your parents do for a living? what is the major industry? is there like a prison nearby or something? ok thanks.

oh and what the hell is HughesNet? and is it a complete and total ripoff? and WHAT grocery store exactly? is it like a chain or just a mom and pop thing or what? seriously. i need to know these things. thanks.

I hope that her assets go to her infant child as well as charity. May she rest in peace, and her child Dannielynn Hope grow to be a highly productive and successful member of society.

from mesa you'd take the 10 to the 60 and once you hit superior go right onto the 177. go through kearny and winkelman, right on the 77 for about 5 miles and you'll see a sigh that says Dudleyville ->

it's an 70 miles north of Tucson if you go up oracle road which turns into the 77

does that help ya out amy?
