Exactly 38 weeks to the day....

My new baby boy is to be born, if only they had 'made in coachella' tshirts I'd whack one on this little nipper when he's born.

Moral of the story, wrap it up boys.

I wonder how many other Coachella babies there are out there.....?

:)

We're all Coachella babies.

I hope this is good news.

What are you going to name him? Indio?

It's how they write the date in most other places. Think 01.18.09.

what is the 18th month?

thats how they write it in almost all other countries day-month-year, which really makes more sense because each preceeds the next, unlike in america where we do month-day-year...

my minor is in german studies.

im still stuck writing dates like that, all my papers say things like "18 January 2009"

I always use ISO8601 so that if you sort numerically, it's also sorted chronologically.

i.e. 2009-12-16

Wheres the beef?

I do that too. it also means each number is measuring something smaller than the last, even when you add a time after it. so much more sensible. fuck this month-day-year shit. does anyone outside of the US use month-day-year?

also, to make sure we don't talk more about date formatting than Gyrus' son, congrats and I hope Indio is born healthy!

I prefer Roman Numerals: XVIII/I/MMIX

I just hope the baby pops out with the lineup. That would easily become the best way to release a lineup each year.

I work for a Canadian company, and all company-wide dates are written 16 DEC 08. I'm finding it very hard to adopt this, and I refuse to write dates this way in my lab book.

Oh, and...congrats?

exactly. screw both the european and american way of doing it. standardize that shit.

i'd say congrats, dude, but from the sound of the advice of "wrap it up boys", it sounds like this may not be too happy of an event.

Maybe you can do a giveaway at Coachella. Coachella Baby Giveaway Tent >>> Coachella Abortion Tent (previous failed idea of faxman75's along with the Anna Nichole Smith viewing tent).

lol you guys are funny, I was actually pushing for Indio or coachella or something but she wasn't having a bar of it. Nah I'm really happy now although I was a little shocked when I found out but hey, shit happens, awesome place for it to have happened :)

Instead we've settled on a true rock star name which I will be castrated for mentioning before birth, and photos will be a coming (with 08 lineup booklet in his little fingers).

^^ lol
People might think we're actually GNFNR fans hahahahah, we actually went with Axel because my fiancees name is Roxy and she wants a little girl whose name will also have an X in it so we thought, let's just go with the X theme. That and we couldnt really follow up Axel with something wussy like bartholomew hahahahah

He is such a little heart breaker, I remember 07 there was this young lass walking around with a bub in one of those baby bjorn things and he had these cute little earphones on.... that's so us next year!!!!

Indio is actually a pretty cool name idea, gunz. I think I'm going to steal that. If I'm just as into Coachella in ten years the way I have been the last three years, I think it would be worth using. As a middle name, though, that would be a strange first name for my child. It has a lot of good meaning though.

are you marrying you're babymama?

Sure am, I proposed to her in New York a week after coachella :)
We were at a Yankees game and I had it flash up on the scoreboard but, being the stereotypical australian, she NEEDED a beer in hand so while we were up waiting for the 50 people in front of us to order their foot longs n miller we missed it :( They wouldn't replay it so I had to revert to plan B, go to strawberry fields in Central Park and get down on one knee.

We're givin the chella' a miss this year *sigh - sniff sniff* and going to get hitched in Fiji this November. So long as she's not up the duff again next year we'll be back.

I so wish we could make it over this year but instead I have this gorgeous little man.

Yuppers, Danger is his middle name, hopefully he doesn't grow up all weeny on me.
