I know this thread is ridiculous, but I'd still like to see SOAD.

I appreciate the effort but it would be best if you took a look around the board before making threads like this. I don't know #3 but the only one I haven't seen and want to is SOAD.

Is it just me, or has flava-flav ruined the subversive element of Public Enemy?

Flava Flav is a joke, fuck him....Chuck D IS Public Enemy...

SOAD would be fuckin excellent to see live again..... only seen them once, and that sure aint enough.

Considering how much of a success Scars on Broadway was...I wouldn't count on a SOAD reunion anytime soon...if by soon, you mean in less than six months.

Does Korn still exist? Man, they sure sucked a couple of years ago.
Fuck you might as well put Chris Angel and his band on that list.

I saw SOAD during there S/T days, where Daron use to paint him self in full white paint and throw purple paint all over him self, it was even on his guitar, he started playing and spinning really fast and fell over from being dizzy, this same show I saw Korn during Follow the Leader, and also Metallica closed the night, great show...

I also saw SOAD during the Toxicity days, both shows were good but S/T had some hard songs like "Sugar"

Their music makes me want to be aggro, too: seriously, I hope your shitty going nowhere Cypress Hill hackery has fun drowning in the mediocre lifestyle of hopping around NYC bars run by bookers who post their personal AOL and Hotmail accounts for booking info. Nothing says successful music festival bound like johnsmith@aol.com.

My vote would be for Rage (and thanks for the vid Shotglass), but they've already done it twice now. My second vote would be Public Enemy.

I'm digging the little asian bass player.

I'd go check them out if they came to Coachella (Kongcrete that is).

I'm sorry I had rollin, rollin, rollin cranked up. Are you really a fan? and more importantly, a new album? seriously? Durst looks like he's aged 30 years since his last album.

If I didn't have so much respect for RATM, I'd say that this thread is a complete waste of fucking time and a pathetic attempt at getting free publicity. And who the fuck cares for rap rock these days anyhow? Linkin Park is singing more than rhyming, which I predict will lead to their demise, much like what happened to Korn and SOAD when their frontmen started singing. No one wants to hear them sing. When you start off doing rap rock, it's hard to get out of it.

After doing some research, I'd say that Kongcrete's claim that they'll play Coachella is totally bogus, although you never know what's really going on behind the scenes. Maybe their label is pulling some strings. As much as I want to lambast this band for being so full of shit, their music isn't all that bad. If it weren't for their black frontman, and his use of the "N" word every second sentence, I'd say Kongcrete's paying homage to RATM. Definitely a bit derivative, since the singer sounds like a young Chuck D. But a fresh take on this tired genre nonetheless. Still trying to decide where they lie on the spectrum of mediocre to original.

Derivative? Kongcrete's blatantly stealing, dude! RATM should sue their asses. Or Wesley Snipes rather. They're totally ripping off movies too!
