Listen, Neutral Milk Hotel, there are two kinds of people in the world:

1) Those who love AC/DC
2) Those who lie about the fact that they love AC/DC

NO ONE dislikes AC/DC.

NO ONE.

This is a self-evident truth.

If Oasis didn't exist, AC/DC would be the best rock n' roll band in the world. However, AC/DC is the best bar band in the world.

Not saying the old stuff doesn't kick ass, just didn't like Black Ice that much, or seeing pretty much any band that's beyond it's prime in a live setting (Brian Wilson and David Byrne being like the only exceptions).

They wouldn't do it because Coachella doesn't fit in with their "Let's help Wal-Mart achieve world domination" business plan

There is no qualitative difference between Black Ice and all of their other albums. I was about 9 when I first started listening to AC/DC, they were undeniably awesome then. 28 years later, every goddamned thing I've known has changed except the quality of AC/DC.

I couldn't imagine anything more enjoyable than AC/DC out in the desert.

My thoughts too. There are better headliner options but you can do a lot worse. I'd see them for sure.

Maybe because Pink Floyd is one of the greatest bands of all-time and AC/DC is just a cheesy rock band?

(However, RW can't sing at all anymore. At least AC/DC still sounds like AC/DC, I'll give them that.)

How 'bout AC/DC plays all of "Back in Black" from front to back. How's that for a tribute to Bon Scott

Also, this looks like it could be very entertaining

Depressed? Will someone be standing next to you with a crossbow fixed to your head making you watch AC/DC?

Or maybe someone will clone AC/DC and make them perform on every stage simultaneously while someone is spinning some sick AC/DC samples in the Do Lab...Angus will also be working behind all of the churro and frozen lemonade stands so that you simply cannot escape them.

Point it, you can always watch something else homie.

They are in the rock and roll hall of fame and have influenced many rock bands. Just because the scroaty Ozzfest people like them doesn't mean they don't kick real hard ass.

ACDC will blow out your fuckin ear drums kids... True Story. One of the loudest concerts I've been to and it was outside!

I've seen AC/DC live before, years ago and it was fun, but it's nothing I'd desire to be anywhere near Coachella Actually when I saw them, they were so loud that it was on the edge of sounding like shit. The further from the stage you were, the better. As far as Coachella? It's surrounded by alot of open space...Hmm, different than the norm, but then, surviving 28 years in the biz says alot these days for a musician. Hey, 1337moomoo, how many of your favs will be able to say that in 28 years?
