Nomex on : Fleetwood Mac would be great at Coachella. They still have a ton of energy and are mostly intact (Christine McVie doesn't tour now nbut everyone else is still alive) and Mick Fleetwood is a loon that would really engage the crowd. I saw them in '03 and it was thoroughly enjoyable.

What sayeth the board ?

Not a hater, as I have seen them live over the years. I just don't think that they'd be a good fit for Coachella.

I love Fleetwood Mac, but I would only want to see the full band at Coachella...including Christine McVie.

It would be petty neat to have the USC marching band come out during Tusk, but me thinks another festival needs to be created for this.

agreed. no Christine McVie, no Fleetwood Mac at Coachella.

it would be interesting as i am inclined to think that they are not really a Coachella type band.

don't ask me to back this up because it's just my opinion.

i want to stress that I did not read the above posts so these thoughts are clearly my own.

I was in no way influenced by the masses.

They would be a bit odd at Coachella, I agree. But I'd still love to see them. They'd make a more enjoyable Friday for me than, say, Jack Johnson or Fatboy Slim. But if they show up at any American fest, it would probably have to be the Roo.

I've already stated this on the board, but "Tusk" would be one of the most amazing songs live but I would never pay for a Fleetwood Mac concert just to see it. Fleetwood Mac at a festival would work well for me. In fact, I wouldn't even mind them at Coachella taking up next year's Jack Johnson spot. Seriously one of the best fucking songs ever recorded:
