A couple of DJs that ought to be rocking the fucking Sahara this year:
Bloody Beetroots:
x_Db9qI11GY
7yHcwqM2Cg4
o6hmZHnDyWw
live:
u1ITNp9UO5Q
The Toxic Avenger:
u1yGAFd49pM
Vj0nL5-nm6Q
o--cg3tv0Dw
live:

And for the hell of it:

The Sahara needs another year with a tremendous undercard, and these are two of the acts I hope make it to Coachella this year. Yeah!

Also, Paul B, what tracks are on that upload? I want to get it but I think I have most of the tracks.

Because I could only listen to "Rip Shit Up" three times before the novelty wore off... He's not as good as Toxic Avenger.
EDIT: Actually, that's Hostage.

Toxic Avenger is good stuff.
Saw him down in Orlando a few months ago.

Both would have been more timely last year, but yea sure put em in the Sahara next year. Might as well throw Crookers in there a year late as well.
Hopefully Coachella gets more current this year and blesses us with the Count and Sinden sound system, Fake Blood, Drop The Lime, how bout just give the Sahara to Annie Mac and BBC Radio 1 for a day?
I wouldn't know whether to piss or fart from such extreme ridiculous joy.

There's a picture of Bloody Beetroots, Toxic Avenger, and Steve Aoki in this week's LA Weekly.

I find the majority of the Bloody Beetroots remixes to be unlistenably awful. Their original stuff is wonderful, in contrast. The tracks with Congorock are standouts, but "I Love the Bloody Beetroots" is pretty catchy.
Steve Aoki is human garbage. Mickey Avalon with a laptop.

he didn't wear his mask in Orlando though for some reason :(
Or maybe he had it at the beginning of his set, which I was in another area of the club at the time and missed it.
i like gimmicks :(
One of his buddies or something wears a mask to the side or a half mask...i forget. Its been a while

I cannot stress enough the necessity of the Bloody Beetroots at Coachella in 2009.
