So I was listening to "Talking Book" a little bit today and thought that it might be kinda cool to have Stevie Wonder at Coachella. Not as a headliner, but definitely on the main stage. I'm not sure about his price tag, but I think that would be great. How does everyone feel about that?

Edit: It may not be THAT much outside the box either.

dude, I think that'd be awesome. give him two hours on the outdoor at night, or sunset mainstage

i remember someone suggesting right after this years coachealla. it really would be awesome to see stevie funk it up. i can only really picture him playing before the sunset set, or after it. cant see him being the main headliner and cant see him playing the magic hour

he'd have to be on the main stage though, that would be a given

I <3 Stevie, but is he a little too fat and old to funk it up too much anymore?

I was kind of wondering that myself, but I still would go check it out and have a good time doing it. I just think he has so many classic songs, how could it not be a good time?

And I support Parliment in the Sahara.

Agreed. He needs to keep the fridge away from the piano.

Out of his 2 1/2 hr set, he played about 45 minutes of classic material the rest was songs from his 2 new albums coming out sometime soon, and they were boring.

ah... that sucks. it does, however, lead me to believe that were he only given 50 or 60 minutes, that it'd be a hit-packed jamfest!

and yeah. I have been begging for george clinton & parliament-funkadelic in the sahara for like five months now. they need two hours. minds would be blown, and faces would be disintegrated...

free your mind, and your ass will follow!

i'd rather have jr gong marley again than P-funk..P-funk with Sharon Jones can play somewhere else. BUT. as long as something else is going on awesome in the other stages i'm happy for it
