I just got a bunch of old PMs e-mailed to me. All but one were from March or April, and they had all been purged from my PM mailbox.

fix your email server coachella.

menikmati

Its a problem on the server....all the old notifications that never got sent out at the proper time (I use to get PMs and never the email notifications like I was supposed to) for whatever reason today all got sent out at once....perhaps the server is nice and refreshed now or something, who knows.

Damn, I thought the board just got all needy for my precious, precious input.

Man, my heart bleeds, I got over a thousand! :D

I've just started getting through the last 900. Reminiscing over some fun old threads though.

Hmm. I guess this explains/touches on why I could never get the board to send me PM notifications. I still haven't gotten any old ones, so maybe they are still working through their queue or maybe I turned it off.

it woke this sleeping giant from its slumber..

what am i doing back here so early and why did these e-mails wake me from coachella hibernation? i was having wonderful dreams about the polo grounds.

I'm glad I didn't sign on to get PM email notifications. :thu

This just in! Fox News referred to Michelle Obama as his "Baby Mama", and SFChrissy misses her pre-baby boobs! Also, Allyjoy thinks Gyllenhal looks like "a fucking bobble head", but HEADSTRUCK strongly disagrees!

More on these stories later!

Randy doesn't like ewoks and Amyzzz doesn't know who "Win Butkler" is! If Radiohead play The Rip in California or Seattle, TeamCoachellaHellYeah is gonna burn all their Radiohead CD's!

I've worked my way through the first five hundred. Most of the remaining five hundred are from the Radiohead thread.

MissingPerson
09-15-2008, 05:13 PM
No, I'm just getting shitloads of really old email notifications for new posts in threads. Down to the last 300.

TomAz

I just thought it was Salah obsessively PMing me again. But, alas, it was a problem with the server.

Private Messages, btw TomAz.

Hey everybody, Stefinitely Maybe just finally read Bright Lights Big City by Jay McInerney. Sbessio is excited about something in the Party All Weekend thread, but I've already deleted the subsequent notification, so I'm not sure what.

Down to my last hundred! Go me! Hannahrain recommends fine point Sharpies on Ziplocs.

We have neither Sharpies nor Ziplocs in this country though, so sadly, I cannot comply.

Thankfully no one pm's me..

We still hunt our own food here. I'm not using the internet the way you do, either, I'm just shouting binary code into a telephone.

In all the posts and forums I've encountered the guy, I never understood the fucking E's.

I know some folks called him Edwin, but I was under the impression that had come from some Arcade Fire-related confusion early on.

Man, you're on a roll tonight.

But thank you, I feel much better.

Regular ballpoints work best on Ziplocs, actually, provided they've got a white block on them. Sharpies take too long to dry. But, kudos, because you have no idea how legitimately relevant to my life that tidbit actually is. I probably write on thirty Ziplocs every day. At least.

I got soo nervous!! I thought I had a virus!! Well, geez, sbessiso...with the way you carry on like some jezebel hussy around this board, would catching something suprise you?

This reminded me of someone I knew years ago...before he got busted for possession with intent to sell. Can you imagine?
BTW, sbessiso, I'm just giving you a hard time...Wait, let me rephrase that! :)
