So, I just got a job offer in Denver. I don't know all(or any of) the details about it yet, so I don't know if I will be going or not but I wanted to gather some info on the city from those of you that live there. I lived in Grand Junction when I was a kid and love CO, but only went to Denver once or twice but can't really remember much about it. So i would love to hear some info on cost of living(So I can figure out what I should negoitate my salary to be), nightlife, the general vibe of the city, and anything else.

LOADS cheaper then LA for sure. by about half. state taxes are a flat 4.63%. In fact you can go to this website and found out how much you'll make after taxes here. www.paycheckcity.com

the vibe here is much more chill then LA for sure. slower pace. lots of hippie jam bands.

how much of a salary are you expecting? Are you looking to buy or rent?

Jay cutler will try to fuck your little sisters friends and when they say no Brandon Marshall will swoop in and try to do the same.

I lived in Boulder for a stretch when I was 18. I loved that city as well as Denver. I would love to go back someday. If it wasn't for the cold I would consider a move there maybe. I couldn't deal with snow in May and September.

I make around 35k now, and I am hoping for around 50-60. But I really don't know yet. It is still all up in the air at this point. Basically my friend got an offer to manage a growing company in Denver for 6 figures and offered me a job since they have to staff up. I haven't really talked to him about salary yet since he just called me this morning.

I expect that will happen, but oh well it is a cost of living in Denver.

Basically it is selling forclosed properties from the bank to investors who flip properties. Right now I am in AR for a property management company, so it would be a change, and only temporary since the forclosure market will only be strong for the next couple of years. There is good money in it, even if it is dirty profiting on other people's loss but hey someone has to do it.

I would say forget it and go to biker jims for a dog, but the top 4 are The Cherry Cricket, CityGrille, Park Burger, My Brothers Bar

Cherry Cricket was the one I was considering.

Adding Biker Jims to consideration.

Thanks.

I need hotel recommendations in Denver. The hotel would need to tolerate a group of women and a male stripper.
