you canadian.....

p.s.- one of my friends just came back from a trip to toronto and long short, a group of us are looking to maybe move there

Yeah. My friend and I were a little trauamtized for a few days afterwards. A lot of it was scary! most of it incoherent. In retrospect maybe not the best movie to trip to.

I've never enjoyed watching movies and tripping, i don't like paying attention to anything for that long under those circumstances...and Dark Knight seems like a pretty heavy experience that could be rather traumatizing

We always go for something that has big action, or lots of color, or something magical, you know, the usual summer movie type stuff. I was way off with dark knight, how was I supposed to know it was going to have loooooooooooong ass stretches that felt like episodes of LawAndOrder?

p.s.-two-face really freaked me the fuck out. jesus, that fucking eyeball....

salah, toronto is totally the place for you
aside from having the highest per-capita gay population in the world next to san fran, toronto has pride (one of the two largest GLTB pride events in the world).
we have circa, the sound academy, and the guvernment, three seriously decent multi-room club complexes that have a-listers on a weekly basis (it's no miami, but hey), capping off a list of 300 live music venues in the city. and toronto also has arguably one of the largest freetek scenes in north america, with illegal raves happening almost every night, and a pool of hardcore, gabber, electro, psytrance, dubstep, and jungle DJs about fifty miles deep. also not exactly a wasteland for more radio friendly fare, having spawned acts like mstrkrft and more recently, holy fuck, and deadmau5.
it's very much a city belonging and catering to its' younger population at the moment (19-30). if you and your friends move here, I'll be happy to be your guide.

I once watched sean of the dead on acid.
bad move.

what really attracted my friend was how shockingly nice everyone was (dude you have no idea how shitty people are down here) and how cheap rent is for like a normal apartment. I want to smoke lots of canadian herb, eat maple syrup with everything, cap my sentences with "eh?" and meet all the canadian boyz I can.

your description is on point pilgrim, I'm going to start looking into it myself. Miami has a large gay population sure, but I dont feel at home with them, the majority are south beach gays. very prissy and pretty and flamboyant, which is fine, lord knows I can be those things but its a city full of them. all very shallow, where image and beauty is everything. I dont like it and quite frankly im sick of it.

phew, excuse my little rant
