I can't believe how much is still fucked up in this country.

That is disturbing, considering how many children there are stuck in horrific situations I am sure if you asked them if they cared if they lived with a gay couple who would love them and care for them instead of where they are at the moment they would pick the gay couple in a heart beat. Some people disgust me.

I would prefer it if straight couples were not allowed to have children and ONLY gay people could.

locachica73

at least you know they truly want the children, unlike some people who just have more babies to get a bigger welfare check.

I'm not sure if the proponents of that are under the impression that gay=pedophile or if it's just another attempt to limit rights for gays period.

That's ridiculous. As long as they're qualified and have enough responsibility to care for a kid, then who cares if they're straight or gay?

locachica73
08-25-2008, 12:46 PM
because apparently people don't have enough shit in thier own lives to worry about so they have to worry about everyone elses. I hate people like that.

I support this. Metrosexuality has been allowed to hold this country in the grips of fear for far too long.

It's definitely the latter Amy, i was just trying to be funny and mock them and their ideas. It all stems from the bible and enthusiastic evangelicals in my opinion.

Not criminals, make enough money to support a child, etc. There are stricter rules for adoptive parents than birth parents.

The issue has been discussed before but in this day and age you need to be open minded and need to accept diversity or stay way behind in the times.

something tells me this wouldnt work.

the thread topic is pretty freaking sad. i have issues with everyone having kids, but to say one group cannot bring a child up based on their sexuality is just sickening. mr. and mrs. so and so can have like 10 that we all pay for because they dont wanna work, but Brian and Brad cant because they suck each other off? yeah, that makes sense.

I expect a slew of jokes to follow this, but what about transgendered parents? They don't specifically fall into the boxes of "straight" or "gay", but they've basically become the silent minority in recent times.

i have many conservative views, but this is obviously stupid. basically, i dont think right or left play, or should play in to this. i think its stupid vs. loving parents and theres obviously more stupid people in Ark. than there is loving parents.

its stupid ass people making everything political thats causing shit like this. why on earth would/should this be a political issue?! its about giving a kid a fuckiing decent home to live in.

There's plenty of people still out there that think fondly upon the days of Jim Crow and await a return to them. That and the days before Roe v. Wade as well.

Well as pro-life as he is I would say he would like to return to the days before Roe vs. Wade.

I can't decide whether to vote for Obama, a third party candidate like Nader, or just not vote at all.
