BTW...

Neil Young
Pearl Jam (supposedly McCready is now denying they are playing)

Foo Fighters are rumored...it could be ALOT like '06

PJandBompton

PJandBompton
08-18-2008, 09:19 PM
so what are the 250 tickets?

good question...

All shows for this tour will be general admission floor with reserved seating in the stands. General admission tickets will be prices at $75.00 with reserved stand tickets ranging in price from $45.00 to $250.00 (plus all applicable service charges).

Sushov23
08-18-2008, 09:31 PM
that is fucking weird, maybe there will be 20 rows of seats on the floor for 250, and then the rest of the floor will be the GA part.

suprefan
08-18-2008, 09:41 PM
that is fucking weird, maybe there will be 20 rows of seats on the floor for 250, and then the rest of the floor will be the GA part.

U2 does this, wanna know why? Cause young people like us will get floors, and the older crowd with actual money will fork over the extra cash for comfort. Its perfect audience marketing... On the Elevation Tour, floor tickets were $40, while seats were like $150.

Sushov23
08-18-2008, 09:50 PM
yeah my friend saw U2 on whatever their last tour was like 6 times, she got all floor seats, except for one they got second row for like 180 or something. That's why I actually thought that might happen, from what my friend told me.

PJandBompton
08-18-2008, 09:52 PM
regardless...it's gonna be two different experiences on the floor at Cox Arena October 29th and 30th hahaha Uncle Neil and DCFC then Rise Against the next night...

still...$75 for GA to this show! I'm Stoked!!!!

I also, too, don't get it. But I assure you I'm not a fan of W. Vedder really did scare me at Bonnaroo, he scared us all I think. Since then, when I see him on TV I scream, and either throw something at the TV and/or change the channel quickly

and I really don't know sushov, I'm just not a big fan of A LOT of music from the 90's. I wish I had a reason, or a better way to explain.

perfect comparison...especially because one time i believe it was Eddie was quoted as saying PJ is the worlds most glorified Who cover band...

The reason i dabbled into the Bob Dylan comparison is due to the recent stuff Eds been doing solo...Into The Wild soundtrack, No More, Here's To The State of Mississippi...

haha I understand your opinion, but you can't possibly believe this is a widely held notion. I'm not saying they are the best band on the planet, far from it, but I believe that they fit into the musical landscape and have similar fan devotion/common popularity to what the who had at stages in their career.

even if you do find them boring, you can't really dispute that.
