R.I.P. Bernie Mac

arguably my favorite of the four. Great comedian, I always perk up whenever I see him pop up in a movie. I used to :pulse his show back when it was still in new episodes. Complications from pneumonia. This sucks :(

I heard he was in the hospital this week but this is way unexpected.

He was a funny cat in every role. Except in Transformers, where he made me feel ashamed for black folk.

RIP

Very sad, I didn't even think he was 50 yet. I would have guessed early 40's. This won't get 1/4th of the press Heath Ledger did, but it should. With George Carlin and now this, this isn't the year for comedians.

Damn, the man was younger than me. The news said he'd been ill on/off since 2004 and was ready to retire. John Edwards should be so lucky.

Thats very sad what happened to him. I remember him in the movie Life with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. One of my favorites.

I liked him in Oceans and Bad Santa, but I guess I don't know anything about him. Why is he an "original" king of comedy? I thought this was going to be a real old-timer, or at the very least someone from Carlin's generation, maybe Bill Cosby. 90's sitcom guy doesn't equal original king of comedy to me, no matter how funny he was.

this is really crappy because this guy is funny as hell. really sad considering he seemed to be getting better.

I love this deleted scene from Kings of Comedy.

The microphone goes out at around 2.35 and a guy gives him another and he smacks him :D

I don't care how silly it looks, I think i'm gunna shell out the money to see "Soul Men", in honor of the Mac. Everytime I see a commercial on TV i'm all "awwww...". Not as bad as those Sarah Mclachlan commercials with all the fucked up cats and dogs
