I just heard about this, this is terrible news. My prayers are with him and I have faith he will make a full recovery.

"Easy, huh? Hell, I don't know that it was all that easy even back then. And we was young and full of beans. I mean, if you was mad at 'em, Will, I mean. If they'd done you some wrong, I could see shooting 'em."

Fast recovery, Morgan.

He's one of my favorite actors!!! I hope he has a speedy recover...

Does anyone remember the Electric Company & Zoom...these were his first PBS appearances before he became a charector on sesame street...

I used to love the electric company and seeing the letters come out of their mouth's...

This is horrible news. I actually like Morgan Freeman. Seven is my favorite movie he was in.

He was money in Shawshank, Glory and is easily one of the most recognizable voices out there.

Morgan Freeman for God. If he was in charge, this shit would work right.

I hear his condition is less serious than they thought at first though.

Wow, what the hell happened? His car was airborne. That's crazy. I'm sure he'll recover, but it sounds like he'll never be quite the same again. An accident like this at his age could change your body forever. Hopefully he's not looking forward to a life with constant pain.

I remember several years back when Stephen King was hit by a car. I feel just as upset about this as I felt about that. At least King recovered and wrote several more books (a couple even included his experience with the accident and recovery in a fictional way).

My thoughts are with him.

I don't know the exact details of Freeman's injuries but I don't think they're as bad as King's were (hopefully). I remember reading about that accident and wondering how the fuck he was still alive

amyzzz

I just read on yahoo news page that he has a broken arm & elbow and is in serious condition. So it sounds like he should be ok.

Over a year later and Morgan Freeman is STILL ALIVE (but his most recent marriage is not). He needs to live so thee can be an Electric Company reunion.

We need some kind of special ignore option to make Kenados vanish.

I thought it was funny. He outlived this "almost death" for over a year and so I posted an ironic musing on the topic. Remember, the board is often slow at this time but as Coachella approaches, it will pick up.
