if it was legal even i would smoke it.

If they legalized it do you think companies would still be able to screen for it and fire you for using it? Since it stays in your system so long there is no real way of telling when you did it so they wouldn't be able to prove you did it at work or outside of work so how would that work?

I can't even drive while high much less work and be around my annoying co-workers. It was different working at Arby's high as fuck, but in the corporate world that would be way too much for my mind to handle.

I will be surprised if this passes. The bill is co-sponsored by two guys who get laughed at on a regular basis.

Barney Frank and Ron Paul

We could all email our congressmen and -women to vote for it. Not like that'd help much.

It's a happy thought at least. I will just have to wait till I retire and be that old granny hanging out on the beach with my pot pipe.

No shit. Not to mention the safety issues involved. Again, if you're a McDonald's cashier and you're stoned, that's one thing. If you're operating on someone and you're stoned, that's quite another. Personally, I don't want to be in a hospital having a catheter put in by a stoner. Just sayin.

When I was 18 I worked at a plastics factory on the graveyard shift and we use to crawl up the catwalk to the roof, smoke out, then try to get back down. Going up was much easier. That was when I did it regularly though, now when I occasionally do it I can barely find my way to the kitchen to invent munchy foods.

the fryer can be dangerous as hell. seriously.

i didnt read the article yet, but the title of the thread says "decriminalization", not legalization. there is a big difference.

which is why it will be really hard to decriminalize marijuana. every other argument aside, they need to find a way to perform on-the-spot testing in order to truly regulate.

and the founder of the company where i work helped to fund the last decriminlization vote we had here in az back in 2002. i love knowing they'll never be a drug test :)

Jesus Christ. Love Ron Paul or hate him, the fucker's a doctor and a Congressman, and we're gonna pair him up with Joy fucking Behar and Steven fucking Baldwin (who is 1) an actor, 2) a Baldiwn, and 3) a fucking Creationist that likes Switchfoot), and make him discuss Michael fucking Phelps doing bongrips.

This is an unjust world.

Even if it was completely and totally legal, you could still be fired for a positive test. People are being fired for smoking cigarettes.

Where and When are people being fired for smoking cigarettes??

heyeric

I know of companies who have fired employees for smoking on "the company's time".

But, to "fire someone for smoking cigarettes", that's absurd.

BKsaysAction!

I think i heard they take away their health benefits if they smoke cigarettes i'm not sure about firing for smoking. There was a Dateline episode on it or something.

Ron Paul kind of rocks.

Stephen Baldwin looks like a bit of an idiot.
