...I wonder how it's going to go. They're old and their humor is kinda old news....

On the other hand, you can probably get a contact high by going.

It will be interesting to see who Cheech is these days. I thought he had given up the smoking lifestyle.

Nash Bridges = Defunct. Also, you would think in the 15 years after Miami Vice, Don Johnson would've picked up a little more stylish sense of wardrobe. I guess not. Ever see his atrocities on Nash Bridges? Christ...

i first saw it like a year or two ago, i totally thought it was like a remastered miami vice, or a remake. pretty much is.

Pretty much. Though Cheech was really the only character worth watching on that show, it was a Miami Vice rehash which just took place in a aesthetically better city, San Francisco. The car wasn't 1/2 bad though, and some of the love interests of Don Johnson weren't all that bad. I think there were a few that went on to bigger and better things.

yeah, cheech has become a pretty good actor. i wanted to watch more of that show because i couldnt believe how close it was to miami vice, especially his clothes. but i quickly realized i didnt care.

No one cares about anything important. This is the same message board that sat on its hands and refused to pay tribute to Don Knotts on the day of his passing, for fuck's sake.

Cheech's show at LACMA has been getting heat from the art community. LACMA, point your aesthetic critiques towards Eli Broad's private collection. Oh wait a minute, he helped build that new wing for you. Son of a bitch you contradictors!!!

Doesnt it make sense to not take your hippy dippy bullshit into every goddamn thread? Make a thread called Sbessiso's conversations or something. I go into a thread expecting to read about what the thread is about, not whatever you've decided is most important at that point in time.

Live Daily yesterday...
Cheech & Chong reunite for first standup tour in 25 years

By Tjames Madison / LiveDaily Contributor
Comedy duo Cheech & Chong [ tickets ] have announced plans to reunite for their first live standup tour in more than 25 years.

The pair of Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, notorious for their drug-heavy humor in the '70s, will take their "Hey, What's That Smell?" tour to 24 cities this fall and winter, kicking off Sept. 12 in Upper Darby, PA, and running through a Dec. 20 show in Denver. Dates are below.
Tickets go on sale beginning Aug. 8 at 4:20 p.m. local time in each market. Additional dates and information on presales will be announcedvia the duo's tour website.

The pair, which released nine comedy albums between 1972 and 1985, along with eight feature films, originally broke up in the '80s amid creative differences. Marin told the Associated Press that the pair has tried to reunite in the past, but always ended up fighting too much with each other.

"It takes about 3 minutes for that to happen. There's this veiled hatred," he said. "We've kind of resolved that.

"We've gotten to the age where we don't feel like fighting anymore because the end is a lot closer than the beginning," he added.

Marin has spent most of his time since the breakup working in Hollywood and making frequent appearances in movies and television, while Chong, who spent eight months in prison in 2003 and 2004 for selling drug paraphernalia through the Internet, has stayed busy with his standup comedy career.

I'm usually not critiquing people's clothes in a crime mystery/comedy. But, thats just me.
