I can't find it, but there was one on the last flight I took that advertised using Brand new ancient medical techniques. That's right. Brand new, yet ancient.

clearly someone has to buy things from the skymall...otherwise they wouldnt keep putting the catalogues on flights...but who are these people? I imagine some guy getting hammered on a flight then like 2 weeks later he has all these packages with portal windows for his dogs or god forbid a slanket.

there is something in there called poop freeze for picking up your dogs shit when it is fresh. looking through some of the stuff they have there I am assuming it is geared towards people who just have too much money and have run out of ways to spend it.

When I flew to Vegas last year, I saw this one rediculous over the top item that I couldn't believe. I can't find it now and I can't remember what it was. That cooler/scooter was in there though.

I love that at one point you could order a fifteen foot wide pissing-cherub backyard water fountain feature. on a plane with a cabin incapable of containing said fountain.

I'm still weighing the practicality of buying the slanket. It doesn't get terribly cold here during the winter, and it seriously looks like a whole lotta warm. But how can you not purchase something like that and not get the pillow for trans-continental flight? It makes the decision so much more difficult :)

I :pulse the concept of the slanket... just not for $50. I'm sure I can get some cozy fabric from Santee Alley & sew one for $10

I like the way you think Loca!

2 years ago for xmas I made my sister a bunch of wine glass charms, cheap and easy to make, her friends all saw them and wanted some, so I made a bunch and sold them. I am always looking for a way to make a little extra cash. Saw the same damn things at trader joes the other day for $15 for 6. I am thinking I need to make some more.

Hmmm that slanket looks like it'll keep you really warm..maybe I'll buy one for snowboarding. But it might get wet.

And I would love that sky rest pillow for work. I'll just set it on my desk and snooze.

I feel you. I made a bracelet for a friend of mine and all of her friends wanted one of their own. I just always get lazy when it comes to turning things into a profit. I'm more of a labor of love type person. That needs to quit because I like money.
