Which album, John? I need to get speakers for my PC. Or, better yet...pick up one of those small iPod cradles that all the kids are using these days.

Marooko,
I like Gala the best. really cool somewhat fuzzy guitars and then Miki's heavenly voice.

Gala was always my favorite....

i love Spooky as well....

listening to "Lovelife" was so utterly disappointing... i hated that they abadoned their dream like sound.... i still have no idea what they were thinking with that...

i did listen to Emma's new stuff with Sing-Sing.. that was ok...

although i always felt that Miki would have been a superstar on a Stefani type of level

One of the most under-rated bands of the shoegazer era. Definitely did not get the wide spread credit they deserved.

I only have their shoegaze albums: gala and spooky.

Miki is beautiful and talented. her and Emma were so good together as collaborators.

lovelife was definitely a different sound. it sounds just like elastica to me, actually. I like it, but can see why other lush fans might not. I like the fact that Jarvis Cocker sang on one song.

Spooky is my favorite. I'm going to go listen now, in fact.

Ditto. All it took was the opening guitar riff. Although I figured I would like them because PF suggested them to me and she knows her shoegaze.

She does not look as stacked as I remember in that guitar pic.

It was lunch so I grabbed the first one I found, Split. I love that album but it's also the one I've listened to the most. I have Gala and Spooky around somewhere. I need to find them.

I have Lovelife too; it isn't bad but it also isn't near the standout effort the earlier releases are.

I liked The Joy of Sing-Sing despite the fact that it was a little different; has anyone heard their second album?

I love this song but the video is so exploitive. i feel like the emphasis was on their looks and not so much on musical content. Granted they are beautiful especially Miki but that vid borders more on sexism. Beautiful song though.

after some listening, i cant say im a Gala fan. Dont hate it, but dont think its staying on my media player. maybe a coupe of songs. pretty decent though.
