First off, spell ''Dying'' correctly. Thats proof that you have been taking too much E yourself. And what, did you expect anything different?

When my acid started to kick in I had was sitting down against a wall with my eyes closed waitng for RITM. I had a security guy come up to me asking if I was ok. So they were watching out for people, but with 50k people it is impossible to see everything.

I was walking through the vendors village and this guy collapsed at my feet. His eyes were wide open but he wasn't moving at all. I guess he's not dead, because of no reports of death, but he looked pretty bad.

similar situation back in 99. a couple people asked me if i needed anything. no security though. made me feel better that people were watching out. never ate that much acid again. i couldnt even say anything, just gave them the thumbs up. haha.

Quote from that link...
DId anybody see the "other" guy who I assumed was ODing or like dying or soemthig when everybody was waiting in line.. around 6 - 8:30?

He was outside the line laying on the hood of some car like convusling, drooling, pissing all over himself and his head was busted open and bloody? His friends were trying to pick him up and carry him which looked IMPOSSIBLE but DAMN that was a sight.. and before the event had even really started! Come on now... ODing before it even starts...... lame.

I have been going to raves for almost 10 years now. I have seen this type of stuff go on for so many years it is ridiculous. People need to realize that drugs will kill you. I assume most of the people were younger and weren't used to massive 50k rave parties such as EDC.

What is RITM?

This thing looks like a fucking nightmare. I feel so bad for people who had to work there.

I also tried to google news search for any news of confirmed deaths at the event and I didn't find any. Is there a media cover-up?!?!??!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

In case anyone's wondering what the LAFD has to say about these reports. http://lafd.blogspot.com/2008/06/electric-daisy-carnival-busy-night-for.html

quote from the page

LAFD Media and Public Relations said...

If you have an official source, please do mention it. If you 'saw' something, please come forth to the news media outlet of your choosing.

Otherwise, we'll have to consider it to be a shameful rumor.

FYI: There are no reports at this time of any Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronouncing anyone deceased at or near this event.

The LAFD does not have detailed information to share regarding the 18 persons who were medically assessed or the 11 transported by LAFD personnel (alive) to area hospitals.

What may have happened to such patients while in or following their hospital treatment is sadly outside of our realm.

In closing, please know that there were private medical services at site, and while it is possible that they treated someone, it seems implausible that they would not have summoned nearby LAFD Paramedics.

Respectfully Yours in Safety and Service,

Brian Humphrey

I liked a lot of the lineup and had I an extra $75 laying around I might have gone. After hearing about the long lines, stupid kids and pricey concessions I realize I'm probably better off having missed it.

No one died at EDC.. Last year 3 people were stabbed though! LA Times said 11 people went to the ER.. Not too bad considering the amount of people there.
