Alright I know there are a lot of TV show threads but Curb Your Enthusiasm deserves one. Larry David is a comedic genius. I can't wait for the new season (hope it comes soon). I was watching last season's episodes and this has got to be one of my favorite moments from the show:

i love this show. LOVE. i cannot WAIT for it to come back.

i'm not sure what my favourite is. my most recent favourite memory is from the finale of last season when the manager's mean wife (what the hell is her name) comes to the door talking shit to larry, and vivica fox comes in and gives her shit with larry standing behind her. i didn't describe that in a funny way at all, but that's my favourite right now, lol.

Jesus Christ people, calm the fuck down. It's a good show. It's absolutely nowhere near the top 3 or 5 or probably 10 funniest shows ever. What is it with you gentiles that makes you love nebbishy Jews bickering so much? Didn't Seinfeld have enough exasperated yelling and elaborate coincidences resulting in embarassment?

And for the record--the large vagina conversation was the be all, end all.

Seinfeld Cast to Appear on Curb Your Enthusiasm
Source: Entertainment Weekly
March 5, 2009

Entertainment Weekly reports that the "Seinfeld" cast--Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards--will be featured in a multiple-episode story arc on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" this fall.

The cameos will mark the first time that all four actors have appeared together in a scripted TV show since "Seinfeld" went off the air nearly 11 years ago. No date has been set for this event, or for the show's seventh season, which will run for 10 weeks.

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" was created by and stars Larry David, the co-creator of "Seinfeld." Seinfeld, Louis-Dreyfus, and Alexander have made individual appearances on the series over the years.

CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM LAUNCHES SEVENTH SEASON SEPT. 20 ON HBO

LOS ANGELES, July 30, 2009 – HBO’s hit comedy series CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, executive produced by and starring Larry David, kicks off its ten-episode seventh season SUNDAY, SEPT. 20 (9:00-9:30 p.m. ET/PT), followed by the debut of the new comedy series “Bored to Death.”

CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM stars “Seinfeld” co-creator David as himself in an unsparing but tongue-in-cheek depiction of his life. Featuring real-life celebrities playing themselves, the episodes are improvised by the actors. The series also stars Cheryl Hines as David’s wife Cheryl, Jeff Garlin as David’s manager Jeff and Susie Essman as Jeff’s wife Susie.

The new season finds Larry continuing to cope with the aftermath of Cheryl’s departure, even as his life remains intertwined with the Black family. Guest stars this season include series veterans Ted Danson, Bob Einstein, Vivica A. Fox, Richard Lewis, Rosie O’Donnell, J.B. Smoove and Mary Steenburgen, plus Sharon Lawrence, Catherine O’Hara, Meg Ryan, Elisabeth Shue, Christian Slater, Sherry Stringfield and the stars of “Seinfeld” – Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards.

I wasn't suggesting paying for it, necessarily. there might be a free option with commercials, or pay to be commercial free. hulu and such are making tv shows much more accessible online for free. if hbo shows were available on the internet I'm sure there wouldn't be a free option, but I'd pay a little to watch curb your enthusiasm. much better than paying $70 a month to get 150 cable channels I don't want.

it's a valid point, but who will pay for the shows to be made if everyone gets rid of cable and watches for free online? quality programming like HBO can't come cheap, i just wonder how the transition from cable to internet will work for television as the funding has to come from SOMEWHERE.

shakermaker113

Last nights episode had so many different things going on that it could very well be one of the best yet. Not only did we get about 10 minutes of what a "Seinfeld" reunion plot would be like but they took something that tarnished that show's legacy and finally acknowledged it. Perfectly I might add.

I seriously stopped watching Seinfeld after the Michael Richard's incident. I couldn't look at the character the same way and I saw every episode probably 100 times. What he did was dumb but fuck it, move on. But still for some reason every time I saw him I couldn't help think about it. Then this season when they brought the cast back it seemed like they under used Richard's in the show. I didn't know why but it just felt like they were. But last night having him have to acknowledge the incident was pure brilliance. I wouldn't say that it was the funniest laughing your ass off show but it certainly was one of the most creative one's I have seen.

"How's your daughters pussy?" Jerry's face was priceless.

"I'm yelling for society!"

Palestinian Chicken looks like it's going to be a masterpiece.

Last night wasn't as funny as the week before, but still made me lol a few times.

The shot of Larry's hand reaching for ice cream was excellent.

I'm watching ESPN right now. I think Mike Golic and Jeff Garlin were separated at birth.

These last two episodes have been my favorite of the season. The car ride with Susie was too much. And the black guy with glasses too. LMAO

So sad the ten weeks are up. There are better shows on tv, but none make me as genuinely happy as Curb does.

i thought the finale was the best episode of the season. The kid was hilarious and is now my favorite kid on a Curb. Michael J. Fox was great. The end was perfect.

This season ending was as clever as the end of The Producers season, yet somehow more satisfying. I'm glad the show didn't end on Bloomberg kicking him out of NY. That was a bit over the top.

Leon in Paris could be a show in itself.

This was a pretty solid season. So glad they spent most of the season in NY; gave the show some new life. How many damn episodes can you make about dinner parties in Beverly Hills?
