Anyone else listening to this today?

Talk about sophomore slump. Compared to the spine-jarring debut of Hold Your Color, this album has about as much impact as leaping from a dining chair. Every other track seems like a rejected b-side from their first album, except with the grandiose "oomph" that most of that album had.

Meh.

Yeah, I agree. The album is not good at all unfortunately.
But I did enjoy their show

Having listened to it several times, its growing on me, but then again even the worst foods are an acquired taste.

Its not nearly the new-asshole tearing the debut was, but I'm digging the album for the most part. There are definitely crafted "singles" and those are the stand outs for me. Its basically like the McD's Value Menu for electronic music. Its cheaply made, it tastes good, and everybody knows it, they just forget about it 5 seconds after they're done.

Also, for some reason I feel like this album is the spiritual second album that Deepsky has YET to produce, and the 4th album that BT should've done, not that shitheap Emotional Technology.
