an arena tour in the middle of summer? thats pretty weak shit. why not play outdoor venues?

and yea, kind of weird how they dont announce all the dates at once...i hope they add an sd show in that big gap between phx and vegas, but i already spent all my concert money on coachella and radiohead, so i dont think i could even afford it anyway.

I agree, I'm not down with all the arenas. There really isn't a reasonable-distance venue on there that makes me excited. Plus, they're playing Chicago the day after Lollapalooza? Oh well, more reason to be excited about MBV playing a venue like the Aragon.

Damn no LA date :(

I better start saving my money. They say Coldplay tickets are expensive.

P.S.
I just noticed they're playing in Vegas July 19th. That would be perfect for my birthday :)

Now they are, it wasnt bad in 2002, but after the last tour they feel like they can charge $75 a ticket and make people hapy just with balloons and ok lights.

JSam67
05-09-2008, 11:06 AM
Definitely not willing to fork out that much to see an okay show in a big arena. That's good to know.

Not always, its just the venue, I have been to shows in Vegas and pricing is not that different from a show here in Cali, maybe a couple bucks more cause of the Las Vegas entertainment tax.

Street Scene...

I dunno that would be pretty big for street scene i think headliners will be relatively small considering all things like last year's failure and the move back to downtown.

Wow, they're not coming to El Paso... Just places hours away. Who's surprised? Not me.

I like how Coldplay sounds nothing like Radiohead but people claim Coldplay as a band trying to rip off Radiohead just because Chris Martin and Thom Yorke are both Brits singing in falsetto every now and then.

suprefan
05-09-2008, 01:51 PM
Going to a show in Vegas entails a lot of spending, its not like peopel usually go just for that and nothing else. Hotel, shopping, gambling, show, alcohol, gas, or plane ticket, it adds up fast. If you are gonna make a little trip out of it, by all means, if you cant invest that much, dont bother.

I guess it's somewhat ok, because I made her put up with PORTISHEAD, and Dan Le Sac(who she loved, but was upset because she missed Tegan and Sara) at Coachella. So it kind of works out, because at least I don't pay for the two Jack Johnson shows( I get outside lands on sunday for free because of her), and she is paying for the coldplay shows, I already told her I ain't paying for that shit.

Why are tickets so goddamn expensive anymore? I should just go the mountmccabe route (cheap shows only), but that involves way too much music research, and I am very lazy.

Im going with how much they are being paid a night, easily 1 mil in garaunteed money, plus production(which in their eyes is costly, which is isnt). Itll be $50 a t shirt. And no info on the best buy presale. Im guessing its entering your rewards zone card number to get in, cause there is no promo offer and stuff regarding this.

I'm gonna upload later 3 complete videos I have on that show.

So June 12ths presale (woot for that bb rzone code!) for FL dates? I'll try to go and get better seat tix to that same arena ^ in Orlando.
