WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?
honestly the sad part is I have a little 6 year old sister, that will ask me to take her. And I probably will.

I think it'd be really cute if the monster from Cloverfield somehow got a spot in this movie.

I personally think the combination of a ferocious mutated alien beast and cute chihuahuas is adorable.

try and keep her away from it. Children's movies can be amazing. stay home and rent Babe, Babe: Pig in The City, Secret of Nimh, Milo and Otis, Zathura, The Sandlot.

Then begin introducing her to early Godard and Peckinpah. 6 year olds love Straw Dogs

She watches all the networks that will probably carry this trailer, so no way out for me. SAD.

I'm on my third view. It's sorta like watching those horrible videos/pictures you come across on the internet that you just have to see again. I'm thinking tubgirl or goatse

Seriously, as I watch this, my life flashes before my eyes. Growing up and being so fascinated with the world of film I knew from 5 years old movies would be a part of my life and job. That enthusiasm for film never diminished so I went to film school straight out of high school.

Now I'm looking for work, spent the day sending my resume to temp agencies and this fucking thing is mocking me in the face.

I feel like sticking my head in the sand and applying for law school

My kids are teens now so I am no longer forced to watch disney, YAY. Although watching the lion king and little mermaid while stoned was quite a treat but once my kids reached teenage years i gave up on animation.

you shouldn't. Animated movies can still be great. Finding Nemo is a fantastic movie, I don't care how old you are.

Who doesn't tear up when Marlion loses his fish wife/eggs and holds up the only egg left with his finn and says something like "I'll always watch after you...Nemo"

when my kids were toddlers my dad bought us a VCR and every muppets movie made (he had a crush on miss piggy... WEIRD), they were on a continual loop in our house for a year till I bought them the disney movies that were out. So in between the muppets, every disney movie and then Free Willy... I needed medication to get over it. Now I may be at the stage in my life where I can watch again. Now the kids are into family guy and south park... OY!!!

anyone down with Fantasia?

I went to Disneyland for their anniversary show and they did a live version of fantasia on the water, it was very cool. the kids loved it but i think the adults got much more out of it.

I have a 3 year old boy so I have to hide this if I wanna watch anything else, although he has been leaning towards Meet The Robinsons & The Incredibles lately so that's nice. Both are great if no ones ever seen them, Meet The Robinsons is really funny, but the animation isn't the greatest.

I used to like Disney a lot...until I had kids. Now I really can't stand kids' movies anymore, unless they're really good "older" kid fantasies.

I used to love to go see Disney movies at the El Capitan theatre when i was a kid. The had some fun things to do.

By the way on October 17 you "see" the dogs at the Korean resturant down the street from the El Capitan.

I hate stinkbutt, the adverts for this movie have increased significantly, and I think of him and his douchey remarks everytime. That and when my friend and I saw the teaser for the movie, she was so exasperated, "What the hell is it about?!?!?!"

What's the number 1 movie in the nation right now?

yep called it

only because there isnt anything remotely decent out right now.

on the other hand, this is nabbing the childrens market that has been starving for a good (i use that term loosely) G rated movie...

You still haven't answered my question in the picture thread.

Don't matter I still called it and it still rocks I recommend it for everyone.
