It's true, it's true. It is ALL my fault, because I didn't go last year Superfly decide to cancel it for this year. I mean, if they couldn't get me to Vegas with Daft Punk, RATM and Thievery Corporation nothing was going to do it. Sorry everyone.:winkiss

Not sure. Haven't really heard any rumors for this one, just know they will be announcing the lineup on a radio station tomorrow morning.

Man, I wish Vegoose was still around.

Panic at the Disco makes the entire lineup look like crap.

Let's just agree to never mention Vegoose ever again. It is too painful.

Especially not bad considering I got a presale three-day pass for $75. I can find enough acts I want to see in those three days to make my $75 investment worth it. I just wish one of the acts that is currently touring with REM was on the line-up.

If I lived in New Orleans, I would definately go to this. But I would not travel very far for it all. What a mediocre line up. Granted, it is $75 for 3 day passes, so that isn't a bad price at all... if you live close.

You're going to laugh but I've heard that Lil' Jon is actually a really talented musician. That crunk stuff is just his fake public persona. I don't know how true this because I've never met him but on a similiar note, I know I was blown away at Vegoose when Flava Flav started playing drums. I had no idea he could play any instruments and he fucking tore those drums apart Jon Bonham style.

people are going to give me shit about this, but in a lot of his songs, you tell he is talented, he is also influenced by a lot of different music.

They added more bands...

It had always been our plan to announce additional artists today. However, in light of the events of the past week the importance of including New Orleans artists seems even more appropriate. We are very happy to announce Porter, Batiste & Stoltz, Irma Thomas, Hot 8 Brass Band, Hot Club of New Orleans, Vavavoom, Leo Nocentelli, Dr. Michael White Jazz Band, 101 Indian Runners and ManWitch will all play on the WWOZ/ SoCo stage, the Preservation Hall Tent or Bingo! Parlor. In addition, we have added The Mars Volta, TV on the Radio, N.E.R.D., Eagles of Death Metal, Angels and Airwaves, Butthole Surfers, Fishbone and many more.
