I just found their new album, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold, online.

I haven't listened to it yet, but i'm pretty skeptical. I love Atmosphere, they are rad live, when i saw them earlier this year slug came out with a suitcase of hats, and wore a different one for each song. I suppose I just feel like they are going downhill...

Also its a pretty fucking stupid name for an album. that isn't that horribly important, but fuck.

i haven't heard that one yet, but i heard the album he gave away for free recently "strictly leakage", and i thought it was awesome.

I completely agree Astrid. I don't like where they're going either.

Did you see their Vegoose performance last year? I'm usually all for rappers performing with a live band but I think they were better as just a duo.

He started singing and most of the people in the crowd were just laughing at him, not with him, at him. He said, "really? is it that bad, really? Wow, I guess I need to just stick to rapping." Yes Sean, you do, for the sake of all of us and yourself. Just stick to rapping.

Here some scary little previews of the album in case you want to return it before opening:

i dug the live band. i dont know, that isn't particularly what i think is bringing them down...i suppose what always kept me interested in atmosphere was the excellent pairing of ant's beats and slug's rhymes, but i feel both are just getting sloppy and incredibly unoriginal.

The lead guy really doesn't suit long hair and a cowboy hat.

Atmosphere is really sick live. And the lead singer is a pretty chill guy offstage

Didn't you post this in the Little Brother thread? Anyways, Slug has always sung his choruses in most of his songs. You shouldn't be surprised at all that there would be a lot of singing in their new album. It's dope by the way.

Fuck all of you.

i was skeptical after you cant imagine... was released, i really didnt like it that much and it seemed like sean was just getting to old but the new sad clown bad dubs and strickly leakage are pretty good actually. they seem to be combining all their sounds which is coming together well with both slug and ant.
