Sorry if this is similar to other threads...

Where do people leave belongings while not in the campsite? I was thinking of leaving some things in my car, or a small lock for the tent's zipper. The lock probably wouldn't be the best idea but at least keep things a little safer. Anyone with experience with this?

Thanks!

I'd lock all your valuables in the car. Locking your tent seems like an invitation to theft, IMO.

a lock on a tent wont work...they can use a knife to cut it open anyways...keep it in the car.

I was about to say the same thing... locks in a nylon tent seem a little bit useless.

There is constant security for on site campers isn't there? Like.. 24 hour patrollers

Yeah. I plan on taking a greyhound there, so there isn't a car i can stash things, so i'm keeping the digital cam (should i dedcide to bring it) cell phone, and wallet on me at all time. that's really all i'm bringing anyway.
