ill cross my fingers...a promise isnt legally binding if your fingers are crossed.

I've only been camping one year(2005) and we got there before sundown Friday night. There was about a 45 minute wait to check in and at a certain point you will walk by actual cops, not hired security, and at this point I became slightly worried as security searched through our coolers, backpacks and tent stuff, that if a flask of jack daniels were hidden and subsequently discovered in front of the cops, stuff might happen. After getting a wristband you can freely return to and from your vehicle and it would(theoretically)be more prudent to bring something in at this juncture,as the search is much less stringent.

Thanks for the tip

you think theyll do the whole wristband thing this year? after you check in the first time, you can go out and get some more stuff but do you have to get back into that long, slow lurching line or is there a different one.

In 2005 there was a different one if you were already checked in.

Good tip on bringing it in on re-entry. Thanks
I wouldn't mind taking it apart and letting them sift through the tobacco and everything else

I brought my Hookah to Burning Man a couple of times. They are great in social environments. The hardest thing was getting it across the boarder from Canada.

Good luck!

I wanted to last year, but it falls under two sections of NO on the list. No glass, and no fire. If they bend the rule let me know.
