That's less than $200 a night during Coachella in So. Cal.

That is not ALOT. That's probably average or slightly below depending on the hotel.

nah, takes like 20 minutes, plus it's super quiet and away from the craziness.

I hate when there is craziness at a rock festival.

20 mins after being at that festival all day is a looong drive. pretty much any hotel is quiet at night, its just the camping that can get loud.

anyway, i already got a friday ticket, so would settle for just the camping pass as a trade for transferring the room. let me know if anybody is interested.

yea in 04 i stayed at my sis house, and it was cool, treated like a good brother :), comfy, lalalal, and it was 45 mins away from the polo fields, sounded pretty good ... after all, it takes me 45 min to get to red rocks, but it half sucked after the first night... when i camped the next year, it was way cooler (in some ways and worse in others of course) .... but half the problem is getting to your vehicle, getting out of parking, etc, so in some ways, whats a few minutes here or there ... camp, and i dont count camping away from the fields .. camp where you can stumble back to your tent, and then kick it up ... sorry to digress ...x*****

I managed to stay at the Westin Mission Hills last year for $159 a night. It was really nice.

Couldn't find anything decent under $200 this year, so...camping adventure!
