Wow, The Spice Girls are still #1 despite having canceling much of their tour due to less than satisfactory ticket sales.

who goes to these things? it just mystifies me.

I took my girlfriend to see Spice Girls. It was fun.

I'd see Foo Fighters and Linkin Park.

wow.

now I'd really be interested in seeing the highest grossing tours of each decade... and the highest grossing tours ever.

though I guess there is always the inflation thing to take into account.

When the fuck did Kid Rock tour? I thought he only did that in Iraq.

Ok, this has to be a night, it cant be total. Gimme a break. So the Rolling stones get like 5 million a night correct? Ok then...

That has to be so far this year.

But Trans Siberian Orchestra is on the list. Maybe last 12 months?

These numbers are microscopic. Did all the big acts take the year off last year? Fucking 3 Days Grace? Wait, maybe I don't even know who that is. I might be thinking of 3 Doors Down. Or Third Eye Blind.

And who the hell is Chris Brown?

what happened to The Police?

Ahhhh...yes. If you divide the Spice Girls total by the average ticket price, it's like 15,000 tickets.

what happened to The Police?

PAGING Stef to this stupid argument you started...

...we're going to need some footnotes or something. Cause this shit doesn't add up. Literally.

what happened to The Police?

I don tknow, like I said, this has to be this year so far, cause The Police on one night would make more than the Spice Girls.

The Top 20 Concert Tours ranks artists by average box office gross per city and includes the average ticket price for shows in North America. The previous week's ranking is in parentheses. The list is based on data provided to the trade publication Pollstar by concert promoters and venue managers.

I can in good conscience say that none of these people got any of my money...I couldn't get Hannah tickets anyway

Katt Williams??? Seriously?!

Wow. I would have NEVER thought to see him on this list.

This list shows that it's people who are making bad music decisions and not free downloding that is ruining the music industry.

Yeah, DMB would be near the top of most of these lists..must be a weird time frame.

I find all of that list fairly gross.

fatbastard

I would have to be paid over 40 bucks to attend any of those concerts.

that was utterly depressing.

i was going to make a list of all the reasons why that made me want to die, but it would have pretty much been an identical list, so i shall refrain.
