What kind of things are you putting on your tent to mark it so you can find it at night. We didn't put anything on ours but knew we were near beer last year. This year we're putting up a Denver Broncos, Bronco's country flag I think.

I just had an idea of those glow in the dark star stickers.. Of course, that wouldn't be as helpful as a flag, but neat anyways..

Last year I was conveniently by the pirate flag hoisted in the air. Woo

ALSO! Now officially no longer Lurker status. Ballin.

You're planning on peeing in a circle around your tent?

Originally I had the idea of making a giant canopy of vintage scarves sewn together...but as the date approaches and I have not been able to find somewhere to buy scarves in bulk - nor the time to sew them together...I feel I must come up with a new plan.

Boo.

Here is what has worked without fail for me.

It's like Battleship

Once you have selected your spot, look towards where the food and bar are located and determine exactly what you are in line with, be one of the vendors, a particular tree, part of the bar etc.
Next do the same in the perpendicular direction, there is like a score keeper and loads of trees for reference along with other tents and where the portapoties start/end.

Sounds intuitive, but you asked and this makes it super easy.

Yes, what the above poster said.

Find two landmarks that form a 90 degree angle with your tent being the point.

You're planning on peeing in a circle around your tent? Hmm, I'm having a visual of him acting like a male tomcat, spraying and marking his territory...Then again, with all those polo ponies on those fields, it's not like they haven't been pissed on before!

Update: found vintage looking bandannas for .50 each. THE CANOPY PLAN IS IN MOTION!

Question: what do you use to fly your flags? I can't exactly travel from Canada with a collapsible flag-pole. What do people normally rig up?
