Radiohead would be cool. NIN is at Pemberton and Rage at Coachella was enough for me

Why does nobody think Radiohead will play? Theyve already announced a Chicago date for that time of the month...

Me, too. I think I saw Tricky, Snoop Dogg, Prodigy, and Tool.

Radiohead is gonna happen
NIN is probably gonna happen
RATM will not happen

I think it will be Wilco on the smaller stage against NIN on one night and Foo Fighters on the main with Jay Z on the smaller stage the other night. radiohead will close

If there's a lot more hip-hop this year, I expect to see some acts on the lineup like Kanye in some form, Public Enemy, and maybe Jay-Z. I don't think Foos will be there, but I'm still not sold on RATM either. I just hope they don't put Wilco up against someone like NIN; against the rap headliner would make so much more sense.

i saw Suicidal Tendencies, Danzig and Metallica at the fairgrounds where i lived in 1994. That was the line up from opening to closing act.

You know I thought about Beasties but I just don't think it's gonna happen. Everything with Foo's summer tour kinda lines up with a headlining slot but now actually as I am typing this I think, if the Foo's already hit every other stae on their tour, why would they headline a festival that pulls from all of those surrounding states so actually beasties do make more sense. I now am starting to think it will be someone out of left field that no one has even thought of yet. whatever, i guess we'll all know on the 7th

that's awful. I would much rather have Wilco conflict with jay Z and NIN conflict with Foo.

NIN and Wilco are my two biggest must sees. a conflict would blow.

I think it will go something along these lines:

NIN/Death Cab for Cutie
Jay-Z/Wilco
Radiohead

I'm just trying to devise something that wins for me. NIN one night, Wilco one night, Radiohead one night is essentially what that equates to.

those all work... if its no RATM, then id def would want Beastie Boys...

Jay Z will be opening up for Linkin Park in the summer so, he may be in England during Lollapalooza.

Well, I kind of arbitrarily picked Jay-Z. Kanye in some fashion (either just him or CRS, or like 2 years ago when it was just him but various people came out like Common, Tricky, Lupe) might make more sense. Still hoping Perry strays from acts that were there 2 years ago (e.g. Kanye, DCFC, Gnarls) but who knows?

Well, Perry's wife did say they were doing more hip hop this year.... Id love if Cypress Hill were on the lineup...that would blow me away.

A Tribe Called Quest or Wu Tang would also be fun.
